Lovely Inn style property very nicely decorated comfortable room and bed . Breakfast good. Was a good overnight stay en route to Southampton
The reception was not well signposted and upon check in was advised sorry you cannot use the shower we have a water problem ! Also you need to book a breakfast slot- but as we were late checking in due delays from a crash 15 mile up the road we couldn’t get the time we wanted - Not the best start . The water issue was resolved quickly and we had no issues . We went to breakfast at the time given but others just turned up either at wrong time or not booked in and were just seated anyways !

Our third stay at the Berkshire Arms, although I feel slightly guilty that we always stay when there's a gig at Wasing Mount, as its location is perfect.
As such we only ever do a whistle stop and don't get a real chance to experience its food offer which looks amazing.
It's also perfect for the super friendly Greenham Common Parkrun if you're into running.
We absolutely cannot fault anything with our experience. Nice welcome, lovely room, peaceful nights sleep. Some nice additions of a huge selection of complimentary teas, coffees and hot chocolate, and a welcome pack of biscuits and chocolate 😋
We would highly recommend it.

shower was either scolding hot or freezing cold
Windows do not open properly, we stayed there during the heatwave. I was told “it doesn’t say we have air conditioning” … no but it also doesn’t say the windows only open 2 inches. It was disgustingly hot, I finally gave up at about 2am and I had to sleep in my car. The outside temperature was actually ok but the heat was trapped inside the rooms. Do not book here for the summer- if there is a heatwave you will have an awful stay.
Location and provisions.
It was a little warm in the rooms however each room had a fan.
Clean, large, airy rooms.
Excellent rea coffee and snack provisions in the room.
Excellent shower.
Very comfortable bed and excellent linen.
Super breakfast
The room was very hot due to heatwave. A fan was provided, but room remained to hot due to exceptional weather conditions.
La struttura era molto bella e ben curata!
Purtroppo abbiamo beccato i giorni di caldo estremo e non avevo aria condizionata. In camera c’erano letteralmente 40 gradi. Ci hanno dato 2 ventilatori ma non sono stati per nulla flessibili a farci aprire maggiormente le finestre che per ragioni di sicurezza tengono leggermente aperte. Il caldo eccezionale non c’è stato solo quest’anno, non sono proprio preparati! Ci hanno detto piuttosto andate da un’altra parte! Peccato perché era tutto molto carino! Anche la colazione era ok!

It was extremely hot in the room but we are in a heatwave so was unavoidable - they did provide a fan which helped.
