Location of this hotel is just superb. Beach-front -- just on Turtle beach. Very close to other tourist sites. Our room was clean and had all necessary amenities. the bathroom was clean and descent. Running hot water was available. Bed was comfortable. The breakfast was awesome. They offered beach activities like snorkeling and swimming with Turtles. Overall we had a good stay and will come back if we ever re-visit Mirissa.
The mosquito nets in our room was a bit dirty and needs proper washing. Some areas had black stains or probably fungal mold.
The in-house restaurant is over-priced i think for their drinks and snacks. Could be cheaper.
The property is in the perfectttt location every tourist places and cafés are in walkable distance

We had an amazing time at turtle bay beach resort especially with the host Nikini as she was amazing. During our stay they have kindly upgraded our room to a sea view suit without any additional extra charge.
I cannot speak about how delicious the breakfast was especially the Srilanka one!!
They were even kind enough to hold our 6 months old baby while we were having our breakfast.
During our checkout they gave us a Ceylon black tea as a gift.
All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay, from the rooms, to the food, to the hospitality. Will definitely come back again!!
Amazing location, very nice staff and nice food. The family room was huge, with such a nice seaside view from the balcony.
The room was smelly, maybe from humidity, maybe something else. This should really be checked by the staff, as it was quite strong. Other than that however the place was amazing, and we were anyway only in the room for sleeping.

Our host was beautiful, making sure we were comfortable and answering all our questions.
The room was spacious and tidy, with cute netting around the bed. We also were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a Seaview room which just enhanced our stay even more!!! This accom is situated right on the beach front, access to private beach and free snorkel hire!
La struttura è situata tra le più belle spiagge di Mirissa. La posizione è accattivante perché ti ritrovi a 10 metri dal mare, e molti servizi sono gestiti dalla struttura stessa.
Lungo la strada principale, parallela alla spiaggia, sono situati molti locali in cui poter pranzare e cenare, ci sono anche dei minimarket e info point per escursioni in oceano.
Mi è piaciuto molto scovare e nuotare a fianco della tartaruga locale che vive in quella baia.
La nostra stanza, posizionata al primo piano sopra la reception, era enorme (più di 40 mq), bagno di grande dimensione, terrazza su spiaggia e climatizzata.
Colazione abbondantissima inclusa con opzione internazionale/locale.
Salir de mi habitación y ver el mar, la comodidad de tener un restaurante con un chef excelente sin tener que salir del hotel.
La mejor playa porque justamente aquí vienen desde otras playas porque es donde se ven especialmente las tortugas marinas, además de tener espacio de playa, ya que no todos los establecimientos tienen por lo alta de la marea.
La calidez del personal es un 10. Me mimaron hasta el último día y agasajaron tomándome una foto y agregándome a su muro en el restaurante, también me obsequiaron la última cena y un paquete de te local en hebras.
El wifi fue estable y pude trabajar on line con Google meet sin problemas. Me habían dicho que tenían generador ante contes de luz y solo presencié un micro corte (común en la zona y época de lluvias) pero instantáneamente comenzo a funcionar el generador y no tuve dificultad para seguir trabajando.

Personeel was heel aardig en behulpzaam, eten was prima. Leuke plek direct aan het water, snorkelen is alleen in de ochtend mogelijk bij eb.
Wat leuk was is dat we een beide een cadeau kregen toen we vertrokken, dat was onverwacht en heel aardig.

The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and went the extra mile. The restuarant was literally 20 feet from the sea. Very atmospheric at night.

The hotel was well-maintained and clean. I would especially highlight the kindness of the staff and the owner. What is truly exceptional, however, is the hotel’s location. Having breakfast just 10 meters from the sea is an unforgettable experience. In addition to the otherwise delicious and generous breakfast, we ate there several times, and the food was always excellent. The private beach was clean and not crowded. I hope we can return here one day.
The only and only ok thing is that it is at the beach..but this fact can be ignored while booking since one can anyway access the beach even if not staying here
To start with this is a very small place with total 7-8rooms only( with no view of of beach at all from any room). The rooms are so small that if you keep your stuff in the room, there is no space for movement. There were lizards in the room, the washroom was not clean. Being in the hospitality business, there is no hospitality at the property. Staff is just a puppet of management. Management charges an additional 15$ each day for 3year old child where it was mentioned free while doing booking. Water is chargeable , no service after 8pm, you need to choose breakfast by 6pm each day and you cannot have options. They don't even clean the room each day considering beach rooms get dirty each day. The level of mosquito were too much which led my kids with all mosquito bites on whole body.We ordered the dine option as well but the taste was bad too. If asked anything from staff, the only answer is management doesn't allow. On one day it rained heavily and water came all inside the bed, on raising the concern to staff simple answer this was first time rain came...we are not aware of this water..and there was one guy who looked as incharge got very arrogant and said to check out if water is a problem. There are so many hotels or resorts near this place which are much much better..with better view better food and best hospitality. There is a resort just in front of turtle bay- the morning star..please book that hotel you will have the best time in sri Lanka
Turtle bay beach resort is the worst resort of my life and the worst hospitality ever. We had to cancel our booking in mid of our bookings but glad we did as the stay in The Morning Star was superb.

O quarto tem uma boa dimensão, cumpre com as necessidades básicas.

A limpeza do quarto e casa de banho poderia ser melhor.
a casa de banho precisa de melhorias, tem vários cabos ou buracos por onde aparecem insectos. Tem um aspecto sujo e mal acabado.
As mobilias de praia estavam muito desleixadas. embora existissem cadeiras de praia e mesas com bom aspecto e em uso, tinha muito mobiliário partido e com péssimo aspecto, que poluíam o visual do hotel que poderia ser muito melhor. bastava retirar todo aquele mobiliário (principalmente camas e colchões de praia) danificados e com mau aspecto e retirar todas a bandeiras e fios que existem em cima das arvores que melhorava e muito o aspecto.
tem casas de banho e chuveiros exteriores que podem ser utilizados pelos hospedes ou por quem frequenta a praia, mas estão em péssimas condições, precisam urgentemente de obras, ou pelo menos uma limpeza a fundo.
