Het diner was verrassend lekker en van hoog niveau! De kamer zelf was mooi in schaduw gelegen en in combinatie met de AC heel prettig in het warme weer.
Er was geen afvalbak, dus hebben we een plastic zak gebruikt.
Top locatie! Makkelijk parkeren. Je fietst of loopt zo de bossen en heide in en op.
Uitermate vriendelijk personeel.
Wij hadden een kamer (9) boven de keuken die best gehorig was. Heel de tijd een brom van waarschijnlijk de koeling. Maar er waren zoveel meer pluspunten dat we dit voor lief hebben genomen.
Our 2 night stay was part of a 4 day bike trip which was to include the Veluwe with its incomparable Kröller-Müller museum. Our first impression (after the kind welcome and the allocation of the two charming adjacent attic rooms in the main house), was the marvelous shower! The beds are fabulously comfortable and the rooms both had large openable dormer windows offering fresh air and a view over the woods. Birdsong greeted us upon our awakening in the morning. Breakfasts are sublime!
As vegetarians the dinner menu could use some improvement. Knowing that from a previous stay, we planned on eating elsewhere after first sitting outside on the beautiful terrace for a glass of white wine. We enquired if, on the off chance, we might just have a large salad and fries. Despite the restaurant being fully booked, the kitchen graciously made an exception for us. It was perfect. As icing on the cake, one of the many delightful staff members lit a fire for us in a terrace fireplace so we could cozily stay sitting outside and enjoy the sun going down. Paradise.

Locatie was schitterend, pracht wandelmogelijkheden - fantastisch eten met subtiele , byzondere smaken, zeer mals vlees( wel heeeel kleine porties maar het was zo lekker dat we dat voor lief namen ). Uiterst lief , zorgzaam en capabel personeel dat meedacht en voor een rustig, intiem plekje zorgde om iets te vieren,pracht ontbijt- heerlijke , smaakvol ingerichte kamers ( wel een heel steil trappetje , voor het 3e 2ps bed, maar onze 56 jarige zoon kon er gelukkig mee omgaan, wij tachtigers niet meer). we hebben genoten , dank!!!
Iets veiliger trapje naar de 2e verdieping
De locatie was excellent, je loopt rechtstreeks de heide op vanuit het hoofdgebouw. Ook mooi zicht vanuit de veranda (zij noemen het de serre).
We hadden één van de twee cabins geboekt. Deze viel toch wel tegen. Het was er donker en niet sfeervol ingericht. De kitchenette bestond enkel uit een wasbak en een ijskast, geen mogelijkheid om iets op te warmen of klaar te maken. Er was een waterkoker, maar geen koffiezet. Het was buiten 8 graden en het lukte niet om het warm te krijgen. Het verwarmingstoestel hangt aan het plafond, waardoor de warmte rechtstreeks naar de mezzanine gaat, waar het bed staat, terwijl het beneden koud blijft. Om 15u30 was de cabin nog niet gepoetst, waardoor de poetsdame kwam toen we even wilden uitrusten na onze fietstocht. Even daarvoor was er een man met een hogedrukreiniger het terrasje van onze cabin aan het afspuiten. We vonden dit erg storend en eigenaardig dat dit moet gebeuren op zaterdag van hemelvaartweekend.

De locatie is prachtig
De kamer was erg klein en kaal. Bovendien een eindje lopen in het bos. Soort jeugdherberg.
Het diner was goed, maar zeer traag. Het voorgerecht bestond uit 2 asperges en in het hoofdgerecht ook al aaperges. De stoelen helaas erg oncomfortabel.
Goedbedoelde bediening, maar je mist de leiding.
Fantastische locatie, met fijn terras in de zon. Heel goed eten en ontzettend uitgebreid onbijtbuffet. Heel vriendelijk en hartelijk personeel.
Niks
Supermooie inrichting, heel attentvolle medewerkers, zo dicht bij de natuur , alles straalt rust uit en het diner was fantastisch lekker( een pluim voor de chef)
De omgeving en de ontvangst
Het avondeten voor twee personen vonden we aan de dure kant.
De locatie is perfect, direct aan het bos. De bistro is leuk en vooral in de avond, als je buiten kunt zitten bij een vuurtje. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk! Je loopt de deur uit en je bent in het bos, de omgeving is prachtig.
Qua eten is er helaas weinig keuze in de bistro, de kaart is erg klein en je moet hier net van houden. Op loopafstand zijn er echter genoeg mogelijkheden. Wij sliepen in het woonhuis, erg leuk maar ontzettend gehorig. Dit leverde wel wat ongemakkelijke momenten op met buren die het iets te erg naar hun zin hadden :)
