The ramp to go the beach isn’t senior friendly because the end of the ramp isn’t finish. My grandmother still have to step into the beach.

It is super nice but will most likely try another resort next time
Pros:

Beach clean and super nice, room clean (except under bed), beds very comfortable, breakfast good, Koi pond beautiful and best times feeding the fishes, pool not busy before lunch, many good friendly staff, food is good at the hotel restaurant, nurse on location (needed to use it 2x -> jelly fish sting and earring in pool into foot)

Cons:

Checkin surprisingly robotic being in PH and not personal, waiter staff undertrained for sure, no information about basics when checking in, pool had the worst music playing constantly and loud (not so relaxing), service speed of room service was 40min - 60min, no ice cream / popsicles on location 🤣 (just some dessert sandwich with icecream), restaurant not airconned at night and kinda felt like little effort put into making the dinner area more comforting and cozy (was like eating breakfast again kinda feeling), lack of activities at hotel for kids.

Peaceful, away from the crowd.
Pros:

Peaceful, Relaxing view and most important is that it is a bit far from crowded alona. They have a spacious room, nice bathroom and comfortable bed. The staff were also accommodating and helpful. Big thanks to Modala Staff!

Hope to return to Modala when I travel to Bohol
Pros:

We stated Modala for good five days, and we were travelling with a 5 1/2 month old baby. This property is extremely good friendly. The staff is amazing. The food is spectacular and the location close to the beach. Actually on the beach helps a lot. We also did scuba diving there and the experience was fabulous.

Pleasant and nice experience.
Pros:

Accessible to a number of restaurants. Places is clean.

Cons:

The comforter has blood stained but the staffs were very courteous and very helpful in changing it right away.

Amazing getaway not far from airport or Alona Beach. Will be coming back!
Pros:

Peaceful and beautiful. Rooms nice size, clean and comfortable. The staff were all amazing and so helpful/friendly. Pool was amazing plus gym on site and restaurant with breakfast buffet that was amazing and came with room. Perfect!
