A hotel that needs an overhaul so that you feel you're getting value for money. Disappointing.
Pros:

Location is great.
A genuine welcome whilst checking in.

Cons:

Hotel decor - overall it was sadly very tatty/poor.
Stairs to first floor - smell of a smoker.
Beds - cheap, poor quality mattresses. Towels - frayed edges.
Ensuite bathroom; poor water pressure in shower so not great.
Breakfast - scrambled eggs - please ask chef to learn how to cook good scrambled eggs - arrived like a lump of rubber on the plate.

The main restaurant/bar was kept well and clean, food was lovely and friendly staff

The actually room we was staying in was in outdoor cabin blocks, the size and provisions ok but the cleanliness needed more attention

check in time was 4pm but we arrived around 3pm, so an earlier check in wouldve been better

The building was very tired and the waiter had an unusual manner towards the guests and ‘c u next Tuesday’ was not what one expected to hear whilst having breakfast

Great stop off for us on our motorcycle tour of Scotland
Pros:

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Staff were friendly and welcoming and breakfast was amazing! I can recommend the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs

Pros:

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Frühstück und Abendessen im hauseigenen Restaurant waren gut.
Insgesamt passte aber aufgrund der schlechten Zimmerqualität das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für uns nicht.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war ziemlich abgewohnt. Insgesamt sehr hellhörig und wenig komfortabel.

For the price don’t do it

Cons:

We were in room 3 , the furniture was cheap and unable to open drawers , the shower was awful even the toilet brush was dirty. After waiting 45 minutes for breakfast it arrived inedible. Would never consider this so called hotel again or tell others to stay here

Good place to stop on the NC500.
Pros:

A friendly wee hotel on the NC500 close to the gardens at Inverewe. Nice cooked breakfast and decent bedroom with comfy beds.

Looks can be deceiving! Excellent value for money
Pros:

The food was great and I promise you will not go hungry! Breakfast is cooked to order and just as good!
The room was a little dated but the bed was amazingly comfortable!
