Amazing view and amazing staff! Best place I’ve ever stayed

If traveling to Medewi there is no better place to stay. The view can’t be beat and the service is amazing. Every person goes out of their way to help. Hasti helped me so much during the lead up to our stay to ensure all my questions were answered and arranged transport. She was always available and eager to help. Agus, Nopi, Wayan and everyone else at the restaurant were so friendly and accommodating. Definitely enjoy the delicious included breakfast while scooping out the waves. The location really cannot get any better for a surfer or for someone watching a surfer. The beds are comfortable, bathroom products fantastic, purified water in the room is a plus and there is surf board storage everywhere. Every aspect of our stay here was relaxing and fantastic!

Great location, amazing staff - our favourite
Pros:

The rooms are amazing, well equiped and large. The breakfast choices are so yummy, you choose what you would like rather than a buffet - so much better than a buffet! The location on the point is great, you can enjoy the waves without leaving the resort or in some cases your room.

Cons:

It is all very clean and tiny but I am seeing some areas that need some maintenance from the last time I visited (first visit was June 2024, this visit was April 2026). There was a surf event on and the staff found it difficult to keep non-guests out of the pool which made it quite crowded at times - they were definitely understaffed.

Superb
Pros:

Great atmosphere! Although we are not surfers we liked the surfer community and the show they brought us daily.

Cons:

The very limited, almost absent beach life was a surprise to us. The surfers didnot mind and left us the pool almost for ourselves so we enjoyed our stay very much. Maybe our comments help others to realise the above.

The experience is very poor. Not recommended.

This hotel has a good location. The service of the hotel staff is very good.

Cons:

The facilities of the hotel are very old, the windows are not closed, mosquitoes can go in and out freely, and they are very noisy, waking up every night.

Location, the view, the sunsets over the pool, the lovely staff, the included breakfast.

Cons:

I had high expectations for this place from the reviews and the price, but it didn't meet my expectations.
Things that can be improved.
The curtains were stained with rust? And need replacing.
The towels and sheets were clean but stained.
The bathroom was very damp and dingy and always felt wet and a bit smelly.
The bed was lovely and big and soft, but with two people in the bed we rolled into the middle.

The pool and restaurant area overlooked the surf break. Enjoyed sitting in these areas all day and enjoying the waves. The food and service was great. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable with great bedding.

Awesome boutique hotel with incredible view of the surf
Pros:

A true surfer's paradise - we had such a lovely stay at this chic boutique hotel where you can paddle straight out to one of Bali's longest left breaking waves. Communication was excellent even before we arrived and from the moment we got there we found the staff in the hotel and the restaurant so friendly and helpful. It's a small hotel that never feels too busy so we were really looked after here The standard room is lovely and has all you need- I was also shown the deluxe room and wow they are incredible. Comfy beds, amazing coffee and tasty breakfast, a 2 hour "happy hour" by the infinity pool with an incredible sunset. What more do you need? Stop reading this review and just book this place already!

super toll, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!!
Pros:

Absolut perfekt. Außer surfen kann man in dem Ort nicht viel machen, aber genau deshalb waren wir da. Es war super ruhig, toller Pool, leckeres Essen und große Frühstück ist mit inbegriffen.
Außerdem war das Personal super hilfsbereit, freundlich und aufgeschlossen.
Für balinesische Verhältnisse eher teurer, aber wir würden aufjedenfall nochmal wiederkommen!

Cons:

Surfspot hauptsächlich nur bei Flut zugänglich, aber dazu kann das Hotel ja nichts:)
