Fantastic time at Bombora. This is a super cool spot. The staff were amazing and we will be back!
Pros:

The location is amazing. Great view of Medewi surf spot. The staff were all super friendly and helpful and fixed any problem we had very quickly.

Cons:

There are just a few things that could do with an upgrade, like the bins and towel bin to smarten it up a little.

Excellent stay fantastic staff
Pros:

Excellent hotel right on the surf break. The staff are outstanding. Especially Dode and Hasti at the front desk and Nopi in the restaurant. THANK YOU SO MUCH. There are others but we didn’t get all of the names. They really all go out of their way to make your stay perfect. They even have a car and driver available to take you to dinner or errands close by. This was amazing and super helpful. We used the car 3 times - for pharmacy, atm, a nearby restaurant. Free!
The rooms and bathrooms are large and comfortable. With a minibar, fridge and hot and cold water dispenser in your room. You could see the surf from our balcony.
The food was excellent. Breakfast was included with our room and you got to choose from a huge menu. There were at least 20 choices for breakfast. So great.
Medewi is out of the crowds and if you surf, this is the perfect place to stay.

Medewi is away from the dense crowds South and if you surf, this is the perfect place to stay. The front desk connected me with their local surf guide who was fantastic and helped figure out the break, find a quality rental board and all things about the surf scene. I recommend booking this in advance if you’re interested. It’s very affordable. Excellent board storage at your room and by the pool for longer boards. Just a great vibe overall. Every time we were downstairs by the restaurant and bar watching the waves you’d end up having a conversation with a fellow traveler. One of the best wavelodges I’ve been to!! Don’t miss out on it.

Cons:

It’s right at the surf so the rooms are not totally sealed and a bit musty smell when you first enter but not terrible.
The mosque nearby 😭 LOUD at 5am for a long time. Not the hotels fault but really not great to be woken like that.

Cons:

The pool and restaurant area felt compact with no easy view of the surf break from the restaurant. There was a surf competition on, which we were not made aware of when booking. The resort was therefore overcrowded with limited poolside space. Access to the surf break was also impacted.

We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay at Bombora. The staff were welcoming and friendly.
Pros:

Great location for surf and the quieter side of Bali.
Lovely view form the room and pool of the waves. Comfortable bed and excellent breakfast.

Cons:

Cleanliness of bath and beach towels wasn't consistent.
Quality of Food offerings for lunch and dinner disappointed.

We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend.
Pros:

The location is amazing. Facilities and restaurant were all excellent and the staff were very accomodating to my family and I.

Cons:

If I have one criticism it would be the noise. The rooms are right beside the main street into Medewi and the traffic starts early if the waves are good. Don't let this stop you though. Amazing property.

The staff were amazing and the location was perfect. Great food menu and the penthouse was perfect for us to have some downtime and feel like we had a lot of space with the kids around

amamos a nossa experiência! mas como dona de hotel, preciso dar um feedback: poderia trocar as portas da varanda dos quartos, pois entra mosquitos. tem pequenas aberturas. o ideal seria vidro com cortina, pois durante o dia se você deixa aberto, o ar condicionado não dá conta e fica calor, então o quarto fica o dia todo no escuro.

Overall experience was exceptional, friendly, welcoming and homely and would highly recommend!
Pros:

The position of the hotel is amazing.
The staff were exceptional and very polite.
The breakfast had many delicious choices.
The pool and outside areas were always kept very clean.

Cons:

I was very dissapointed in my room. It was very small and the bathroom was very dingy and dark. I know it was cleaned each day but it looked dirty due to the color of the black slate/tiles. The position was not great either with no outlook and staff foot traffic consistently walking past. In hindsight I would have booked a better room with an outlook?
