Good budget accommodation. Breakfast included in the price

The property is old and there are stairs and walking up the back stairs to access the room after hours on a rainy night was a bit daunting

Needs updating, fine for one night
Pros:

Location was fine for cradle mountain, just an hour drive in the morning.

Cons:

When I initially pulled up, I thought I’d been scammed. The building looked derelict, only for a large open flag waving.
The man who checked me in was nice, however everything else was creepy.
My room was very old fashioned with outdated carpets and terrible lights. Was terrifying going to the bathroom at night, think I was the only person staying there but the hallway was very eerie, I didn’t even chance trying the breakfast because I was too scared to walk down that end of the hall.

Very clean
Accommodated our feather allergy better than many 5 star hotels
Owner was great and very helpful
Easy on site parking

Cons:

Breakfast inclusive eate but only cereals and toast and coffee in an unstaffed area
Property was closed on our Monday check in - rooms access through a rear door by owner - worked smoothly but not a great first impression

Great country pub
Pros:

The bed was super comfortable, and the sheets were clean and crisp.. There were cereal choices, bread, tea and coffee, toaster etc for breakfast. A big plus for a pub stay.

This was the fourth pub I stayed in on my cycling tour.. Michael was super friendly and easy to deal with.

As with all country pubs there are things that need fixing. But the basics like cleanliness, clean bedding, clean room and all the amenties were there. Can't ask for more than that.

Cons:

Nothing really..It's a country pub and so my expectations were met.

Arriving to a closed hotel, bar and restaurant. Everything was in darkness. The rooms were dingy. Unlike the photos on Booking.com. False advertising.

Great cheap place to stay, felt warm, safe and comfortable.
Pros:

It was warm and comfortable. Easy to find and check in. Shower was good. It was a great place for a comfortable stop over.

Cons:

Food choices in the town were very limited. Very good meal at Sheffield rsl.

Pros:

No muesli !

Cons:

The small round table in the room is too small. The room handle and the rear door lock are crying out for some lubrication! The men's shower is nice, it just needs a few more hooks.
