Poor cleaning and housekeeping
Pros:

Reception efficient and pleasant

Cons:

Bathroom was not properly cleaned, toilet needed flushing so had obviously not been cleaned.
The quilt on the bed was way too small resulting in 2 ft either side of the bed having quilt cover only without quilt. I suspect a double quilt in a super king cover.

Absolute nightmare -- paid to contract bed bugs
Pros:

Staff was cordial and facilities were large

Cons:

The rooms were not properly cleaned. The bed was infested with bed bugs and I woke up with 10 bites in the morning, threw away $600 worth belongings as a part of protocol to rid the infestation upon returning home. After providing documentation from my doctor as well as pest control, the hotel refuses to provide any form of make good offer

Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay we couldn't get a facial booked in which was disappointing, however our swimming was lovely and Nessie looked after us

Slight disappointment
Pros:

It was clean. Room spacious. Able to park on site. Proximity to venue for party we were attending.

Cons:

Having to pay £5 on top of room price to park! Extortionate drinks prices in hotel bar.
Complimentary drinks provisions were scant, minimal at best. Lack of loo brush in bathroom.

Location, facilities, room size, friendly staff.

Cons:

The swimming pool around the edge just above the water line in filthy.
The fridge in the room stank of gone off milk. Cleaner did come to clean but wasn't enough. If I was on a longer stay I would of asked to move rooms. Also fridge wasn't cold. The curtain had come off on a couple of clips so was hanging down slightly at one end. The bath had a chip in it, which was quite sharp.

Always a great breakfast. They will make a filter coffee too, if you ask for it, which is a welcome change from the machines🙂

Pros:

My room was fantastic, so quiet, amazing. But of course it cost a small fortune! The joys of work expenses.

Cons:

It was odd that you had to book the pool, I wouldn't have minded if I got there and it was quiet, but it was still fairly busy (too busy for proper swimming) when I got there.

Also charging for parking is just pure greed when you already pay for a room, especially in a location on the edge of the city where you have space. I will always knock a few points off a review when you charge for parking.

Better than expected hotel with freindly staff from a chain hotel at a stadium.
Pros:

Freindly staff. Good facilities. Great breakfast buffet. Dark and quiet room with good quality bed.

Cons:

We had no cold water from the taps in the room, which we informed reception about on leaving, but it didn‘t affect our stay.

a lovely hotel but would think twice about staying here with a toddler on match day
Pros:

Easy to access from the motorway and plenty of parking. Clean room and provided with an upgrade. great to be able to use the pool. staff on arrival very friendly and upbeat and helpful

Cons:

post match was very busy limiting where in the hotel you could eat. Not all staff were child friendly
