Location was ok
Very tired and bathroom was extremely poor with mould around the shower and sink basin
Rather simple but good value
No breakfast provision, but found elsewhere. Broken window.
Cute town
Bathroom had not been cleaned . Bed linen smelled. Building in disrepair and room in poor condition
No food available
In a good location close to the lonach games.
In a desperate need of renovation. Very shabby, and in need of housekeeping. Carpets very warm and frayed. Carpet stairs very tatty. Every where very dusty. The bathroom sink and skirting dirty. The whole place smelt very damp. The bar and restaurant never open and no staff anywhere.
Was close to the lonach games Bellabeg
Very run down and in need of a complete make over! The down stairs entrance was very grubby. Carpets frayed and a trip hazard. The bar and restaurant was never open.
Apart from booking us in, the landlady was never available.
The rooms were very basic, the beds however had clean bedding, although I wish I hadn’t looked at the mattress.
The bathroom was like a horror movie! Filthy is an understatement. The sink had no running hot water. The heater in the bathroom didn’t work. The shower was hot to be fair, but no shower door so soaked the floor, and came through the lobby ceiling we later found out!
The hotel room radiator also didn’t work. Ran out of loo paper and had to buy our own to replenish.
handy for event and restaurant nearby
Could have been cleaner, no breakfast
Micro onde et réfrigérateur à disposition.
Hygiène et vétusté globale, surtout la salle de douche. Pas de porte serviette. Pas de paredouche.
Bouilloire et assiettes sales.
Couldnt get any better with location
Every thing would never go back ended up leaving in early hours and sleeping in me van (dont know how this place keeps open)
The unexpected provision of a microwave and fridge. The location of the hotel was good. The room had a large television and relatively spacious. The tea/coffee station included biscuits, replenished on the second day but not on the third day.
The staff were not particularly welcoming and asked immediately for payment which felt quite brusque. First impressions, the hallways, corridors and room appeared to be adequate for the price but are very dated and tired. After paying the bill on arrival and on inspection, the bathroom was inadequate, with dirty grout between wall and sink with a grotty sink plug. Towels were paper thin and not changed at any time. Shower was feeble and unpleasant to use. The hotel is due for closure as an official Aberdeenshire Council sign attached to the exterior on 21st July 2026, showed planning permission for conversion from hotel to three flats is being sought. Clearly, the Hotel is running down and it showed. The beds were awful - sagging and I found a long hair in my bed and instead, laid on top. No soap in the shower. Beds not made each morning. Musty smell throughout the hotel. Front door remains open all night with no staff to supervise entry. We were unable to find alternative accommodation nearby, otherwise we would have left early. We were also surprised the room was superficially serviced on day 2 but not for day 3. The Hotel is run down and staff (owner) appear to have given up bothering and are just there to receive payment - we saw no one caring if we were there of not. We suggest avoiding this hotel completely, although it will soon be closed - which is about time.
Alles war sauber, Tee und Kaffee wurden am zweiten Tag unaufgefordert nachgereicht
Keine ernsthaften Mängel
When we left
Wasn't clean, had to ask for toilet roll. The biscuits on the coffee tray were out of date in February. Internet not working,I had to go to local shop to get cash back to pay for the room. Never saw the owner after we booked in. No toilet roll. Very dirty place.
