Whimsical and cultural plus a dash of awesome
Pros:

This hotel was fascinating for us. My wife called it whimsical. Very old world Mexico. The pool area was so fun. We kept taking pictures of it, it's just so unique and beautiful, and the kids enjoyed swimming. The town square in the evening has tons of food carts and activity and was totally safe to go explore. We felt like it was such a treat to go and see how the locals live.

They also have food available in the hotel. They had AC in the rooms and lots of fun architecture to look at.
We drove our car here with American plates and did not have any issues with anybody messing with it. They have parking right by the front door.

Cons:

The AC unit worked, but it would have been nice to have some airflow, like maybe a fan in the room. The placement of the AC was a little bit odd and made it to where the room had a fairly large temperature difference from one side to the other. That's probably our only real complaint.

Las habitaciones muy limpias. Pero,i reserva según incluía el desayuno, pero en el hotel NO había restaurant. La alberca muy agusto. El ambiente muy tranquilo.

I stayed here last year and there’s a reason I went out of my way to book with them again.
Pros:

The lovely ladies working there couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating, thank you ladies!
I loved all the beautiful murals all over the property and the pool area where I enjoyed a wonderful and delicious meal.
The neighborhood has a lot of character and charm.
It was a very pleasant experience.

Cons:

The air conditioner was a bit loud but I was still very appreciative of the cool air and happy to have it.
