Pros:

Zalige locatie, meteen aan het strand. Ook het dorpje was op wandelafstand langs het strand.
Het personeel was supervriendelijk en relaxed. Je mocht hen echt alles vragen, zeer behulpzaam.
Ontbijt was superlekker, ook andere gerechten waren top.
Kamer was ook zeer proper.

Fantastischer Ort mit Rückkehrsehnsucht
Pros:

Extrem schöne Lage und freundliches Personal. Dazu ein tolles Frühstück und sehr gutes Restaurant. Man sitzt direkt am Strand und kann die Aussicht genießen.

HUGE NEGATIVE:The room was not just not great, or good. IT WAS BAD. I am talking about the ground floor apartment for 4 people. The room we got gave me an allergic reaction. It was the ground floor apartment for 4 people, facing the parking lot in the back. It was a really good parking lot full of beautiful trees but also all the trash was dumped at the end of this parking lot. There was something in the room besides having no ventilation, and being damp. I started sniffling which turned into a full-blown allergic reaction within a day of being in the room and I spent most of the day outside on the beach. I spent the whole night sneezing and blowing my nose. Had to go to the department store twice to buy two six packs of tissue papers and used up a roll and a half of toilet paper. DO NOT STAY IN THIS ROOM if you can avoid it. Not to mention the army of crabs big and small every night outside the door through which we needed to enter, which is I suppose acceptable and unavoidable given that we were right on the beach. But these crabs made their way inside also.

None of this would have been a problem if it was not for the room making me so unwell I wanted to leave Samara. Luckily, we were able to relocate to another hotel down the beach for the remainder of the days. Within 10 minutes of being at the room in other hotel, my nose stopped running and my sneezing stopped completely.

The only positives I can report on this place was their restaurant and location, quiet beach. 3 out of 5 times, our meals were delicious and the portions were big enough to share. Once when I ordered the taco, the beef was too salty and they completely messed up our to-go order for a sandwich. (More details provided below, along with bulleted list of pro and cons:

1. Cheap on dinner napkins. Only one napkin per person regardless of dish, burgers, mussels and pasta, soupy dish or even fish. Not sure why that's their policy.

Heerlijke, relaxte en fijne dagen op een hele mooie plek in Samara waar je je heel welkom voelt.

Het was een zalig verblijf! Alles was top! Fantastische locatie, rustig aan de zee. Propere verzorgde kamer die dagelijks werd gepoetst tijdens het ontbijt. Het eten was overheerlijk, een uitgebreide kaart. Het personeel stond altijd klaar om je te bedienen of te helpen met een grote glimlach. We hebben echt genoten van de gezellige sfeer en rust. Het echte "PURA VIDA" gevoel! Dankjewel allemaal!

Niets viel tegen!
Een wasdraad in de zon om de natte spullen te kunnen drogen was nog handig geweest.
Het fruit bij het ontbijt was zeer lekker , maar smaakt nog beter als het kouder zou zijn. Dit zijn uiteraard details! Verder was alles prima!!!

Belle emplacement sur le bord de la mer. Chambre propre et jolie. Très bon déjeuner, beaucoup de choix ! Belle ambiance du Costa Rica. Parfait pour un court séjour.

Cons:

Notre chambre était au rez de chaussée, c'était quand même assez bruyant le soir et le matin. Les chiens qui jappent, les employés, les gens à l'étage du haut. Demandez d'être au 2e étage.

Apartment with own little terrace facing the ocean. Kitchenette with all necessary appliances. Staff was helpful, restaurant was really good. But the by far best aspect was the excellent breakfast (you could choose from 4 options) directly at the beach with stunning ocean view. Absolutely recommended.
