Great location and view
Pros:

Balcony looking towards the port was very nice. Lots of space and a good kitchen. Washing machine was handy.

Cons:

Bathroom sink drain issues, bathroom door didn't close. It's kinda old, but that's typical I think.

Gorgeous historic building, safe, comfortable and eclectic apartment in a great location!
Pros:

The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. Well-equipped kitchen, bright and airy rooms, plenty of storage space and good hot water in the shower. It is situated within a gorgeous, historic building that is right in the middle of a pedestrian zone full of shops and restaurants, however, it remains quiet as it is on the 3rd floor and not facing the street. Martina greeted us upon our arrival and made sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay in Trieste.

Cons:

This is an older, eclectic residence - which we happen to love - but it might not be to someone's taste if they are looking for the newest interior or hi-tech amenities. The only minor issues for us were the TV had some connectivity problems (perhaps satellite?) and the bathroom could use a little updating (missing tiles in shower, for example), although everything worked fine.

Great hotel in heart of Trieste.
Pros:

The location is great, right in downtown Trieste. Just a block or two from piazzas and restaurants. The breakfast was nice - handy to have it right there in the hotel.

Cons:

The parking lot was difficult to access, and it was tricky getting the keys for the garage. Not the hotel's fault, just the reality of Trieste and how crowded it is.

Pros:

This hotel is gorgeous and the staff are exceptionally helpful. Everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay can be found here. The breakfast was also delicious - the choice of breakfast foods was exceptional.

Special hotel full of art, very well located
Pros:

Elegant hotel , well furnished , friendly and helpful staff , great breakfast in a lovely space .We had a superior room and it was superior in every way and full of character as is the hotel itself with its hidden tree in a tiny internal courtyard. Our room was large with a sink ,big fridge , kettle , lovely round antique table and chairs as well as large bed with a shelf of books above it .. and a big painting on the wall. Antique wardrobe and chest of drawers .The hotel has a salotto dell’arte on the ground floor . Air conditioning worked well and was unobtrusive

Cons:

The room was a bit dark but this is a consequence of being in a tall old building in a narrow street and didn’t really mar my experience. There were enough lamps unlike in some hotels where the lighting is so poor you can’t see what you are doing, This is NOT like that. I would stay again in a heartbeat.
