Auberge de la Tour

Arrivée à 17h00, porte close, récupération du badge dans une boîte au lettres à proximité. Panne de climatisation, chambre à plus de 32 degrés même avec les fenêtres ouvertes, donnant sur la rue passante, très bruyante… la nuit impossible de dormir. Nous avons donc décidé de partir en prévenant le personnel (enfin présent et compatissant) le lendemain matin. Nous avons demandé une compensation financière pour la 2eme nuit non effectuée, sans succès… l’amour de l’argent l’emporte sur le service client.

Het ontbijt. Er waren wel lekkere croissants aanwezig, vers fruit, ontbijtgranen en stokbrood.
We misten wat beleg of een eitje. Eerlijk gezegd kwamen we voor het ontbijt terug naar dit hotel, maar dit viel ons wat tegen. Het was eerder beperkt.

De airco werkte niet. Het was heel erg warm om te slapen, waardoor de ramen ‘s nachts open moesten en er veel muggen waren.

Das Hotel-Restaurant (es ist das einzige im ganzen Ort) hatte an zwei von unseren drei gebuchten Tagen geschlossen. Keine Möglichkeit, vor Ort etwas zu trinken oder zu essen. Es war sehr heiss im Zimmer, die Klimaanlage kaputt. Ein zur Verfügung gestellter Ventilator war nur bedingt hilfreich. Die Minibar suchten wir vergeblich, obschon sie im Internet als verfügbar angepriesen wurde. Getränke, die wir uns extern selbst besorgen mussten, waren aufgrund der Hitze im Zimmer innerhalb kürzester Zeit lauwarm.
Das Frühstück war wirklich mehr als bescheiden.

La climatisation ne marchait pas et il faisait horriblement chaud.

En pleine canicule, j’ai pris une chambre 3 nuits pour dormir avec une climatisation. Il n y avait pas de Clim, la nuit étouffante a plus de 32 degré, en ouvrant les fenêtres je me suis fait dévorer par les moustiques et la chambre était toujours aussi chaude. Pas dormi 5 min , après une nuit j’ai voulu annuler les 2 autres nuits car les conditions étaient insupportables, l’hôtel n’est même pas rentré en discussion et j’ai payé 3 nuits quand même

The AC was not working and there were no curtains in the bedroom - I spent a terrible night

Check-In erst ab 17:00, Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht. Mehrmalige Bitte um Reparatur, Informationsfluss schwierig. Konnte während des Aufenthaltes nicht behoben werden, Zimmertemperatur 28,5°C plus. Lüften aufgrund Küchengerüche und Moskitos nicht möglich, alternatives Zimmer, Ventilator oder ähnliches wurde nicht angeboten. Schade, mit etwas mehr "Kundenorientierung" wäre diese Unterkunft wirklich empfehlenswert.

booked a room with A/C. Arriving at the Hotel there was no staff. You check in by phone call to a center who tells you to pick up the key in the mailbox. Getting to the room, the temp was 32°C (90°F). Tried to switch on the A/C which was inoperative (and I tried hard to get it to work!). Nobody at the Hotel to contact as the restaurant is closed Monday. We opened the windows as it was cooler outside that inside. The lack of breeze did not help lower the temp. In the morning room temp was still 28.5°C (83°F). This is not acceptable especially that no fans were provided.

I arrived at the hotel. It was closed. I rang them and they would still not let me in.

I had to find alternative accomodation at a great cost.

The hotel said they did not have my booking but I had already paid in advance some days earlier.

This is disgraceful.

They have taken my money without supplying a room,

I am a faithful Booking.com customer.

I've arrived late and the reception was closed.
Had to look for a different hotel late at night.
