LOVELY FAMILY HAVELLI HOTEL RIGHT ON THE LAKE IN UDAIPUR.
Pros:

Lovely family Havelli, right on the lake at Lal Ghat. Wonderful place to stay to enjoy Udaipur and its attractions. Very restful place with family restaurant on the rooftop, giving great views of Lake Pichola. Comfortable spacious room.

Pros:

- The room was comfortable and well-maintained.
- The staff were very polite, courteous, and helpful throughout the stay.
- The overall experience was pleasant and enjoyable.
- The rooftop had a great view, which was definitely one of the highlights of the property.

Cons:

- The rooftop seating area could be improved. The seating felt a little unhygienic and was not very comfortable.
- Most of the chairs appeared to be made of iron/steel, with only a small cushion or pillow provided for comfort. For a property positioned as a premium hotel, I expected the rooftop seating to be more comfortable and better designed.
- The food was good, but I felt it was slightly overpriced. The pricing could be a little more reasonable.
- Apart from these points, I had a pleasant overall stay and enjoyed the rooftop view and food.

Charming with great views
Pros:

Gorgeous restored haveli on the waterfront with wonderful views of the lake including from the rooftop restaurant.
The place was really charming and our room was a surprise - bigger than we expected with a little balcony and nicely decorated. Breakfast was fine. You couldn't ask for a better setting to have breakfast. It is right next door to a much more expensive hotel. Brilliant location near the city palace and main temple. With boats from Ghat a couple of minutes away.

Cons:

Cars need to stop 6 to 8 minutes walk from the haveli and you cannot order a rickshaw Uber to the haveli either. They have to stop at the same parking site. Although there are other rickshaws available to order on the street.
The old town is very chaotic with respect to traffic - rickshaws and motorbikes on very narrow alleys with incessant honking of horns. The haveli itself is up a quieter alley.

Beautiful property by the lake
Pros:

It’s a beautiful heritage property right next to the lake, the rooms are tastefully designed, neat and clean. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Worth the experience!

Pros:

Location is next to the lake. Good property to be in.

Cons:

Restaurant staff (esp during lunch time) was very inconsiderate of the guests. They wete busy in owner’s private party. We waited for almost 15 mns and nobody even came to ask for our order. Given this behaviour, we had to quietly step out and look for another restaurant.

The location was good

Cons:

Its more like a homestay. No extra facility available anytime. If its after 10pm u have go out to eat. U cant even get outside food and nonveg is clear no no. In a vacation u sleep late but they will push u out at 10 in the morning. Food there is very overpriced 650 for aloo jeera. Overall only go for the view rest is not worth it.

Beautiful lakeside haveli with stunning views, cozy interiors, and fresh homely breakfast.
Pros:

The location is absolutely amazing, right at the edge of the lake. You can see the water from every corner of the haveli — whether you’re in your room or dining at the restaurant. The terrace offers stunning views stretching across the lake, surrounded by beautiful palace towers. There’s also an interesting courtyard with a cozy reading area, which adds to the charm of the place. The interiors are very thoughtfully done, and we truly felt right at home. The food is simple, homely, and freshly served for breakfast. I highly recommend this place.

Cons:

The food options could have been better. The poha and upma were not up to the mark. It would be great if they could alternate these with better Indian breakfast options. Overall, it wasn’t bad, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

Highly recommend this traditional Haveli as the perfect spot to soak up beautiful Udaipur
Pros:

A gorgeous traditional haveli, thoughtfully renovated while preserving its original architectural charm. We were upgraded to a stunning ground-floor lake view room, which was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and very well presented.

The rooftop terrace is a real highlight, offering an incredible setting where an à la carte breakfast is served — one of the best breakfasts during our travels. We also chose to dine there each evening, enjoying a shared thali while taking in what we felt was the best view in Udaipur, with consistently delicious food.

The location is perfect, with the old town’s shops, cafes, and attractions right on the doorstep.
