Nice style of building a bit different to typical hotels.
Having to go off site for breakfast.
Absolutely recommend stay here the staff are friendly and super helpful as we were staying for my wedding :)
Only one of the showers didn’t have hot water
Stayed on the way while crossing canberra for the snows from Sydney. Good hotel and had 24 hour check in with someone at the counter. Had 2 rooms. One was verh big so really appreciated that.
I woulf have loved both rooms to be the same size.
Everything.
Nothing
The heritage architecture was great , service staff were fantastic and bed was so comfortable
Nice location.
Rooms are old and tired as are stairs and corridors. It’s billed a. Z heritage hotel but it needs a refurb. No hot water for a shower at 9am. Tap dripping, heater had to be fixed by staff. Noise from adjacent rooms. Not the romantic, relaxing weekend we were expecting.
Quiet location with comfortable bed.
Had to ask for cutlery for takeaway food
Clean , old style , welcoming
Maybe that the hot water wasn’t hot enough for the morning showers
Great room with lovely view of dam and gardens
Needs heater in the bathroom
Quiet, comfortable, old world charm.
Property was close to the main attractions of Parliament House
Rooms smell like cigarette
No lift to second story
