På værelset havde du både køleskab og håndvask, så i princippet skulle du kun forlade værelset, hvis du skulle på toilettet. Køkkenet var stort og med godt udstyr, det var et stort handicap badeværelse, så der var fint plads. Værten var hurtig til at besvare spørgsmål. Havde tit køkkenet for mig selv. Der er vaskemuligheder.
Hvis du godt kan lide et hostel for det sociale, skal du nok ikke vælge dette. Der var dage, hvor jeg ikke mødte nogen. Frontdøren stod vist generelt åben hele tiden, så folk, som ikke hørte til, kunne gå ind, tror flere gik ind for bare at bruge toilettet. Mødte ikke noget personale, men de svarede hurtigt på mail
Everything was okay. But for me, safety is one of the most important factor. The main door was always unlocked, and one of the guests told me it’s been broken for a while.
So basically anyone can enter the property even after hours. It made me feel unsafe and I avoided going out of my room late at night.
I loved the room I stayed at, it had a DC superheroes mural. It had air-conditioning, a smart TV where I could cast my streaming services I subscribe to, a comfortable bed, and the room and showers were clean. It is in a handy location, 15 minutes walk from the Adelaide bus terminal, a 15 minute walk to Rundle Mall and also close to buses going to all parts of Adelaide.
Whenever I phoned Lin and David (the caretakers of the property) they didn't answer my call so I used the booking.com app to communicate with them, they answered all my questions. There was also a problem with the front door of the building but they were aware of it and will fix it.
The beds were comfortable
The walls were thin. The kitchen was dirty and there were ants crawling around on the tables next to the dishes that were supposed to be clean. Nobody put the dishes in the drawers after they were dry. The top drawer in the fridge in the rooms was all filled with ice and nothing could then be placed in the fridge.
the location was good and good value for money.
the towels were quite thin, and no kettle, but no milk, tea or coffee, kettle not provided in our room which I think is very normal to have. I know they had a kitchen which was usable with all amenities but if you wanted to have a cup of coffee you needed to take your coffee up the stairs to your room. Hard to connect the owners to ask questions.

In the CBD, close from everything you need. The rooms are good but would need more space to store things. It was clean. The owners are very reactive if you need anything.

Room smell
$1300 for 5nights in a private room without own bathroom
The property is in a real great location, super central and walking distance to everything along with public transport links nearby.
The kitchen facilities were excellent (the best we’ve had on all of our aus travels) - rice cooker, pans, microwaves, kettles, the list goes on! Not just the regular kettle and toaster.
The bathrooms were great, always clean and shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided too.
The rooms were spacious and really comfortable with a fridge and sink in the rooms too was a great addition to keep things in the room and save extra trips to the bathrooms. There’s also free laundry on the rooftop with air dryers and detergent which is a nice touch.
The hosts were great when contacted had real prompt responses and even allowed us to check in from 10:30am!
If i ever returned to Adelaide I would without a doubt stay here again ☺️
