Squeaky floor boards in the room above, thin walls but its an old building so for 2 nights its doable.

Super position. Enjoyed seeing dolphins from our room window - the room was immaculate too. Lovely breakfast albeit we arrived at 9:30 (breakfast served 8-10) and greeted by the member of staff with ‘I’ll just check if the chef is still cooking hot food’. They were thankfully and it was delicious.
The breakfast was lovely. Very tasty and filling.i had a full English. It was just right.

Loved the room, which was compact but spotless. We had sea views and could listen to the sea all night. Road outside is not too busy that the traffic was an issue. Lovely breakfast with lovely views.
We decided to eat at the hotel when we arrived and we were told it was busy, but despite this our order was forgotten. Staff were very nice about it and one meal was complimentary. Handled well by staff.

We stayed here for a wedding at the liff hotel. The Gwbert was great, so convenient and very comfy! Breakfast was delicious and our room was amazing, would definitely recommend to anyone.

Stayed in room 20 which is an economy room. This was fine for one night but not suitable for any longer due to how small the room is.
The evening meal and breakfast tasted very good.
Great coastal location.
The bed was comfy and I had a decent sleep.
Very tight limited parking, however there is an overflow car park available slightly further away.
The room was tiny and the bathroom was very cramped. Taller or larger people may struggle with using the facilities with the shower and sink pressing up next to them. One disgusting thing was someone had put used cotton earbuds back in with the unused ones.
The view is a tiny window facing the car park. The room is on the second floor so it gets very stuffy during hot weather and you can only physically open the window an inch wide. However, a small fan is provided.
The staff in the restaurant seemed very inexperienced and unwelcoming for the evening meal. We pre-booked but was placed on a dirty table and had to ask for cutlery, remind them of our drinks order after our food came, was told the kitchen had closed at 8:45pm so couldn't order desserts and then had to go to them at the counter to finally pay as no one came back to the table with the bill. Breakfast in the morning was a big improvement staff-wise.
Overall, this room is not worth what we paid and left feeling quite disappointed.

Outstanding yet again. Unexpected upgrade into a lovely room. Best croissant ever and veggie sausages (I am NOT a vegetarian) the most tasty I've ever had. Clean, Comfortable and friendly staff
