Wedding venue/rooms looked amazing. Cosy garden room was nice, bed was amazing.
The gravel path around the garden rooms. considering it holds events where people wear heels the gravel was extremely hard to walk on and it damaged my shoes.
In our garden room there was nowhere to hang long clothing (ie dresses) the coat hanger rail was above the tea and coffee shelf. One side of the bed was extremely close to the wall and you had to side shimmy to get in and out of bed.

Very expensive room
The garden around the building was beautiful, and the lobby was a pleasant place to sit and read. Unfortunately, that was about it.
We were given a room under the roof for £250 a night, with no proper window. The only window was a skylight, which opened just a couple of centimetres and appeared to be partly sealed, so the room was dark and there was hardly any fresh air. The towels and bathrobes were old and the bed was far too soft.
However, none of that was as bad as breakfast. We ordered two breakfasts with salmon, and as soon as the plates were put on the table I could smell that the fish had gone off. The smell was awful. In the end, I hid all the salmon under another plate to try to contain the smell, but even that didn’t help. It was genuinely disgusting.
The coffee was poor as well, and overall the breakfast was dreadful.

Garden room number 10 smelt damp when we walked in. For £300 a night expected a bigger room

Beautiful location, friendly helpful staff, near beaches, lovely walks. Garden room was beautiful, loved the decor and the features. Nearby pub for breakfast was fab, and had dinner there too, lovely food.
Nothing not to like
The room looked nice.
It had a mini fridge, coffee machine and fan.
The bed was comfortable.
Walking distance to the beach.
The room came with a fire pit which was taken away after the first day.
The bathroom floor is laminate and the shower water pressure is very high so the laminate is all detached.
The breakfast was included at a pub down the road, not the hotel.
The reception was closed when we arrived.
The bedroom lighting was poor.
The room was cleaned and the cleaner left the cleaning products in the room.
For the price of the room, it was quite disappointing. Lack of attention to detail. Lack of description on booking.com regarding breakfast. Sometimes its better for the design to be less and more practical.

Breakfast at the Joiners was great. The room was lovely and very comfortable. The Hall was great for the wedding we attended. The travel distance to the Hall was negligible as was the distance to the Joiners Arms.
Bit disappointed at the lack of hanging space, whilst there was one, we had to move the kettle etc., however, there was still not enough space to hang your clothes properly. That was in Garden Room 6. They need to raise the rail and probably lower the shelf and leave the kettle etc., in the main room. Wife found it a bit hard walking in heels to the Hall. Should be a sign that tells you the easy to the Joiners plus a sign on the way back to indicate the path
