Central location to our family.
The bed was very comfy.
Breakfast delicious.
Unfortunately the room did not WOW us. Lighting in the room very poor. Furniture cheap and did not fit with the period of the building. We were a couple staying but only one chair.
No milk with morning coffee in room
Location cleanliness staff
Lack of variety on menu
The satnav took us to the back entrance which was along a dirt track. Our room must have been the smallest, so for 2, it was a bit on the small side. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very accommodating and helped with issues we had.
As the room was on the small side, there was nowhere to sit in the room except on the bed! Lighting from the car park to the building was minimum, so it was awkward to walk and avoid the potholes. Didn't have milk for my morning drink and was only told on leaving that I should have asked the night before - maybe a reference could have been shown on the tea tray.
locally sourced food for breakfast, wonderful location, clean room

The breakfast was perfect. Lovely continental and full English options available, in the most amazing setting.
The staff were excellent.
Really clean, beautifully presented. The staff were lovely
The Mill is in a stunning location at the end of a small lane, which goes no further than the Mill itself. It is surrounded by water (the river Wensom - which ends up in Norwich) and beautiful lush grounds. There are many places to sit around the grounds and by the water, which is perfect for summer evenings, and when we were there, there was also an outside bar. From our room we could see the river on one side and a field of cows on the other. The outside space couldn’t have been more lovely. Inside it has low, beamed ceilings and well thought out interior design, including some interesting colour choices, which shouldn’t work, but do! Our room was cosy, with a very lovely walk in shower room attached. The Mill was generous with its products, including free bottled water provided each day in the room, and proper bottles in the bathroom.
We ate in the restaurant on our first night there as it wasn’t quite warm enough to eat outside. It was busy and buzzing with some quite big tables, so the main course did take a long time to arrive. The food was nice and not just your average pub food - someone in the kitchen is using their imagination and trying things out, which we appreciated. The ceiling in the dining room upstairs is low, so it feels like it would be more cosy for a winter meal than a summer one, but the atmosphere was good and staff were helpful and friendly.
I found it unique , very pretty place . Clean sheets and towels.
The food was good but extremely expensive for what it was. Pudding ranged at about £12.99 and far too expensive for a small potion. The main meals were very costly too.
I shall probably come again, but eat my main meal somewhere else.
Tranquil location

The setting, mill pond, garden and location are all excellent. Restaurant and meal was very good and all the staff were friendly and helpful. It was a lovely break.
Personally I found the pillows too soft!
The food was exceptional
