Fantastic location, beautiful room overlooking the river & the afternoon tea is a lovely touch
Nothing
I loved everything, the greeting from check-in The complimentary tea coffee scones etc .The lounge dining area I could go on and on .Our room was beautiful. Bed was very comfy , heated towel rack in bathroom . We had a ground floor room that had a court yard out the front so could almost drive up to unload our car The breakfast the next morning was superb. The property was just stunning. Grasmere town is very quaint and the Bridge house hotel was right in the middle . Everything was in walking distance. Loved every thing about it .
Nothing at all
Great location right in town with friendly staff.
Nothing I can think of
Breakfast was great, I loved that you could get complimentary coffee on a afternoon very goid !
Everything
Nothing
This is the fifth or sixth time we have stayed at this hotel, and we know exactly why we keep coming back. The staff is amazing — professional, welcoming, and attentive. Everything is comfortable and beautifully appointed, from the bedrooms and bathrooms to the veranda and garden.
The breakfast is delicious, both the buffet and the cooked dishes.
This is truly one of our favorite hotels.
False advertising- the room you pay for is not the room you get.
The shower was ridiculously small, with the overhead dripping cold water on you when showering., I guess when someone flushes in another room the pressure drops leaving you with little water. You can barely move in that cubicle, its that small. No bath as advertised when booking the room. No electric car chargers both are out of order, although none of this is mentioned, The pool and the sauna are not in the hotel, you've got to walk to another hotel to use the pool and the sauna. One of the staff member asks you a question and immediately forget about your answer leading to asking you the same question again in every interaction.
Onto the positive: Great location, whilst the room was small offering the bare minimum (and definitely no mountain view) as advertised the bed was super comfy and the hotel quiet we slept very well.
The breakfast was delicious and very quick to be served with plenty of delicious options. The hotel is very clean and the decor is lovely in every room. The location is superb. I dont know if the hotel is to blame or Booking.com for the fact that we didnt get the room we were under the impression we paid for or the hotel itself but one thing for sure their member of staff (blonde with glasses) was rude in how she handled the situation.
The photo of the bathtub is what we thought we would get.
Plastic kettle.
One ridiculously small round soap. Where is the deluxe??? And no mountain view at all...
Not a big deal in the end, we slept and get washed but it is disappointing to be lied to when spending £200 for a room.
There was no restaurant on site and the bar was a fridge.
Breakfast was overcooked and dry.
Very disappointed

Great staff, location is in the centre, easy parking and walkable to restaurants. Rooms are lovely appointed and cook to order breakfast and afternoon scones were tasty!
Nothing to note
Ideal place for exploring Grasmere.
Everything was very good we have been many times and will book again
