Quiet and comfortable
Pros:

The most comfortable stay so far in the UK. Bed was perfect, location so nice and quiet, staff exceptional. The breakfast was superb.

Wonderful relaxing break in a hotel that goes the extra mile for its guests
Pros:

We requested a room we have previously stayed in and the hotel happily arranged this for us. As it was our wedding anniversary they left a card and chocolates on our bed. Really lovely touches that are so appreciated.

My favourite stay of our 6 week trip.
Pros:

Picture perfect hotel and location in the stunning Lakes District. River was babbling along and birds twittering, right next to the velvet furnishings in our king bedroom. Home cooked Breakfast and larder which provides all day drinks and snacks with the addition homemade scones. Played cards and drank wine in the cozy conservatory overlooking the garden…magic!

Pros:

Great Location and free coffee and scones was all great value for money.

Cons:

Had to use sister Hotel for pool usage which was ok.But thought changing rooms could of been better as there was nowhere to change in the locker rooms.Also the lockers didnt lock so had to take our belonging valuables to the side of the pool.

A lovely location in the heart of Grasmere. Rooms beautifully appointed with lovely toiletries, although some body lotion would have been a useful addition. We were there in a heatwave, so the rooms were incredibly hot and stuffy, although the staff did what they could to try and help with that. Breakfasts were great. Parking very handy.
