The room was very hot and the window was not able to open past two inches wide. The fan provided worked but was inadequate. The sink unit in the on suite was very elegant but too big for the room.
as previous comments.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Beds weren’t the comfiest and the place was a bit tired.
The room(family room) was an amazing layout, with two rooms in one it really helped with settling the kids.
The building is nice and has a lot of potential.
The room was hotter than a sauna, they provided fans but it made no difference, the windows can’t be opened properly due to a safety chain, this could be overcome by putting two chains on instead of one for both windows so they could open and allow air flow whilst maintaining safety, but one across both just prevents airflow.
The property is also a bit run down with paint peeling and ripped carpets.
bedroom
the dinner was a disaster, after sitting at our table we were then told to go to the bar order our drinks . and then on top of that to order our food and pay for it took my sister 25 minutes . The waitresses could of taken our order easy, The man taken the order for the drinks an our meal and paying for it was just like FAULTY TOWERS. We will never visit the hotel again, Sorry
It was dated an smelled quite bad, location wise it was brilliant. The staff were very friendly
The smell in the room was horrid
Lovely location and views
Found a toothbrush in our bed and was very outdated the suites not worth the price . Staff were amazing from reception to waiting staff
The Reception lady was very welcoming. We had arrived at the same time as a coach party, but did not wait long to be booked in. Our room even though it was the economy room it was well equipped and very comfortable, shower room particularly roomy. Just missing a towel rail really.
We ordered food which was served promptly and beautifully hot, with excellent waitors. We sat afterwards in the entrance area and finished our drinks before retiring to our room.
We want to return to sample more of the menu and enjoy a breakfast, as we had to meet friends elsewhere.
There was nothing really, just thought there needed to be a towel rail in the bathroom so a used towel could hang to dry for the morning, the hook on the door was otherwise the only place you could put one, but no good for 2.
Breakfast was excellent. Fantastic choice with more than enough for anyone's taste. I would like to say a special thank you to the receptionist Margarita. She was fantastic. So welcoming and sorted out all the little problems herself. Also Anthony. He was really helpful too and good fun.
We would have preferred not to have been in disabled room with disabled bathroom facilities. We also thought it was really odd not to have any soap near the basin. I also thought it was odd to have no proper toilet roll holder having to balance it on top of the container. The room itself was nice but very hot. Also when we arrived there was a nasty stain on the pillow case.
The food in the Hotel is very good, with a varied menu for both breakfast and dinner. The staff were all very professional and very friendly. they provided an excellent service - nothing was too much trouble for them.
The WiFi connectivity was poor. On arrival, I was allocated a room which had no wiFi connectivity which was no good to me as I was travelling on business and needed to work. However, when I explained at Reception I was advised that "wifi is not guaranteed in all of the rooms, just in the Reception area". I was then offered an alternative room and asked if I wanted to check the wifi connectivity before I moved rooms. The wifi connectivity was okay in the second room, but still a bit intermittent.
