Ideal for an overnight stay on the way to the Scillies.
Pros:

Good location between the railway station and the harbour for the Scillonian. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Good breakfast.

Cons:

It is looking rather tired, e.g. with evidence of damp patches, a dirty stair carpet and mould in the bathroom.

Pros:

Great location and relatively close to the station. The breakfast was great and one could order portions in advance.

Cons:

The beds were too soft and also wiggly, there were inappropriate pictures of nude women on the walls, not ideal when a mom and her teenager son travel together. The shower was moldy. Also the bedrooms are located above the pub, which played loud music till about 11pm, it was difficult to fall asleep before 11pm.

Pros:

Aardige mederwerkers

Cons:

Alles! Krakkemikkige accomodatie. Ontbijt is platen service.

Interesting and memorable. Certainly gave us a few stories to dine out on. But we wouldn’t be recommending it for more
Pros:

The old building, its history and its location. And the interesting artefacts.

Cons:

The stair carpet was filthy as were the windows. Some historical features had been replaced with modern fittings. Everything was a little down at heel. Clearly some investment required.

Interesting but probably won't recommend it to family or friends.
Pros:

Average. 1st morning we couldn't have a hot breakfast as there was a problem with the gas supply. Alternative was a slice of toast and coffee.

Cons:

WiFi. Couldn't connect during whole of stay.
No hairdryer. No towel rails or mirrors in bathroom
Bed was very low
