Hideaway in the middle of the island
Pros:

This is a great way to escape the crowds and sometimes busy islands of Gili. Came here for one night. Since the room was available we got a check in early, the pool was clean and well maintained, the rooms were big and also clean:) the wifi worked great.
We also booked breakfast, which was then available at their beachfront location, and to be fair - the options were awesome, food was great and very big portions that u can take time to enjoy as the location is breathtaking!

Totally fine, for the money we paid for it.
Pros:

Good location of the hotel, near the harbor. We arrived before check-in time and the room was already available, which was great.

Cons:

The hotel is close to a mosque, so we were quite bothered by that at 4:30 in the morning. Also, I only saw the staff (and 2 of the other guests) briefly during check-in… so it felt quite deserted.

For breakfast, you first need to walk 10 min to another location, next to the beach.

Pros:

The room was lovely! Our own little bungalow! The bed was massive and so so comfy and the room had a massive fridge and filtered water which was the highlight! The best part were how friendly and attentive the staff were, everyone was so lovely. We added an extra night we loved it so much and loved gili air so much.

Cons:

The bathroom had open squares to outside so a few tiny creepy crawlies and mosquitos so make sure you keep the bathroom door shut and it’s fine!

Perfect place to stay on Gili Air!
Pros:

The property is absolutely beautiful. There is a really quiet clean pool and the room is really spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is beautiful and it has an outdoor shower. The included breakfast is amazing and you get a wide variety of choices whilst you get to dine on the beach. The staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay so much that the reception team even helped us to extend our stay.

C’est l’HOTEL à réserver !!
Pros:

Nous avons eu une superbe expérience dans cet hôtel. Un accès au beach club Scallyways est inclus. Le petit déjeuner ainsi que l’ensemble des prestations sont excellentes. Un grand merci à Arya, Sucy et l’équipe pour leur service.
Nous recommandons fortement !!

Not the first stay in Scallywags and forsure, not the last.
Pros:

We already stay few times in Scallywags Smugglers. This time, upon check-in, we were upgraded to the Scallywags Beach Club. The location is just in front of the beach and the restaurant. The staff are very friendly and helpul, the breakfast menu offer few choices of meals.

Fabulous place to stay, felt like being looked after by family 😊
Pros:

The room was very well appointed, very clean and the bed was super comfy. All staff were wonderful, in particular the guy in the restaurant who looks like Denzil Washington! Such a lovely man who always made sure I was very well looked after.

Cons:

The only thing that was a bit off was the pool, being situated right in the bar area !

Établissement propre. Chambre avec terrasse privée

Cons:

Petit Déjeuner compris mais au restaurant qui est loin de l’hôtel. Du coup nous n’avons pas pris les petits dej de l’hôtel.

Difficile pour nous de parler de cet hôtel qui je pense a l air bien
A notre arrivé on nous a surclassé dans un autre établissement du même propriétaire le "Scallywags Beach Club" vu qu on était en faible saison ils ont préféré remplir que d ouvrir le petit en centre . Et quelle chance pour nous accès direct à la plage , transats petits déj sur la plage , chambre et sdb propres et grandes ( bouche à ciel ouvert topissime)

Pros:

Very comfortable room with private area. Nice outside lounge area too. Room is in the middle of the island so convenient to get anywhere.

Wouldn't recommend the breakfast. Room could have been a little bit cleaner but was still okay.
