Fantastic staff, super helpful, always able to guide you via WhatsApp. Mr Daniel (Manager) was really friendly and helped us get on Island hopping tour last minute. The food at the resort is wonderful, especially the salted egg squid. The karaoke is wonderful, look out for Karen and Jap, great singers! You can definitely see fireflies, the staff will guide you wear. Having seen the state of Semporna, it was a much better idea to stay here and have the shuttle service which takes 10min to get into town.

The layout of the rooms on the property was lovely & the grounds were beautifully maintained. The staff were very friendly & the manager was very kind in helping with some medicated cream when injured my ankle on a trip. The free laundry provision was a real help. The breakfasts were ok and there was a good variety of food for dinner. The free taxi transfers to & from the pier was a real bonus too.

Lovely landscaping

We spent 5 wonderful days at Firefly Resort in Semporna and truly loved every moment. Nestled within a palm tree plantation, the resort feels like a peaceful escape far from the city’s noise. The lush garden surrounding the property creates a jungle-like atmosphere, filled with flowers, birdsong, playful squirrels, and fireflies that light up the night sky. The rooms are spacious and clean, the restaurant serves absolutely delicious food, and the owner is incredibly kind and helpful with anything you need. With a free shuttle to town and laundry facilities available, everything is thoughtfully arranged. We highly recommend this hidden gem!

Die Unterkunft liegt abseits vom wenig sehenswerten Semporna. Ein Shuttleverkehr ermöglicht jederzeit Mobilität und transportiert Gäste auch zum Hafen, wo interessante Touren unterschiedlicher Art zu den vorgelagerten Inseln starten. Unser Zimmer war recht komfortabel. Vor dem Eingang befindet bsich eine kleine Terrasse. Die gesamte Anlage ist mit Pflanzen und Wegen liebevoll angelegt. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und hat uns bei der Essensauswahl im Restaurant sowie bei der Tourauswahl gut beraten.

Stayed here for three days and two nights.

Strategically located about 10 to 20 minutes of drive outside of Semporna town. The place is clean and quiet, it's right beside an oil palm plantation, and is surrounded by a beautiful, well-maintained garden.

Rooms are not connected to the lobby/dining area - separated by a short walk under the foliage. An umbrella is provided at each room if it rains. Washing machines at the lobby. There are also hanging racks for your clothes right outside your own room.

There's a free van service to and fro Semporna town at a fixed interval, you just have to inform/whatsapp the resort 30 minutes earlier. If you arrive by your own transportation, there's ample parking space.

Serves good breakfast. While the kitchen is closed during lunch, it opens for dinner and supper from 5pm onwards. If you brought fresh seafood from town, the kitchen can cook it for you with a fee. I hadn't tried their dinner; I had their coconut: it's sweet.

Friendly and attentive owner and staff ensuring that I have a comfortable and pleasant stay. Converse mainly in Mandarin Chinese... probably thinking that I was from mainland China. I was here to hike a hill but after I was told that the hiking trail was temporarily closed for renovation, and that I missed the resort's own firefly viewing on the day I checked in, the staff recommended a local mangrove cruise the following day which I greatly enjoyed.

Fantastyczny resort w pięknym otoczeniu pełnym zieleni. Na pochwałę zasługuje fantastyczna obsługa zarówno w recepcji, jak i w restauracji. Pyszne jedzenie. Pokoje czyste, komfortowe.

度假村环境非常好，大厅提供免费瓶装饮用水和驱蚊水。厨师水平不错，蛋黄鱿鱼，奶油虾都不错，咸蛋黄苦瓜也不错，基本上没有踩雷的菜。虽然离镇上有点远，但是度假村提供定时的接送服务。我爸住的房间到浴室之间有个小台阶，为防止老人不小心摔倒，及时给我们调整了房间。入住的时候是春节很热闹，老板给每桌客人都敬酒了，真是诚意满满
