Cons:

The toilet had been usued a dirty towel in the bathroom, no hair dryer.
On the welcome email, it did not say the restaurant last orders were at 8pm , the information plus book in the room says 8pm, we had come 200.miles and there were only takeaways

Good seating area, outside good location to get out and about

Cons:

No milk for coffee in room, bedroom small, dark,linen and towels need updating.bathroom very small sink useless,, shower very small with the usual noisey fan.basic bar food, first morning for breakfast the lad doing it was chilled out and very efficient, everything you wanted was there, second morning, he wasn't doing breakfast so coffee machine not working properly, breakfast bar no milk, or butter , ran out of bread eventually all sorted you just had to keep asking. Although the pub is dog friendly at breakfast dogs everywhere a bit much.

Small room
Pros:

The staff and food were good

Cons:

The room we had was a lot smaller as the 1 we had the first time for the same price to get to it you had to use a very steep and in my mind dangerous stairway once in the room it had a sloop on the floor from window to door and was that small about 18 inches between my side of the bed and the radiator i got out of bed and hit my head on the telly on the wall

Perfect location, but feel part of the property needs updating.
Pros:

We booked the suite room and it was lovely.

Cons:

I was locked in the room and had to get someone to help me get out and the breakfast, although nice was served cold.

Gem of Pub in a lovely Yorkshire village with exceptional customer service.
Pros:

The staff really made the place. What a fantastic bunch of people! All of them couldn't do enough for us and it was all genuine. True Yorkshire hospitality.

Cons:

Nothing really. A strong smell of disinfectant in the hallway but I suppose it could smell of worse things.
Would prefer white cotton bed linen and white towels.
