Cons:

Preis. Aber wahrscheinlich noch gut und günstig für Barcelona. Drei Nächte für 1000€ ist halt ne Ansage.

When we first checked into the hotel, the man at the reception desk gave us a room. When we entered, we saw that it overlooked an apartment building's stairwell, and the window was so small it was hidden somewhere behind it. At first, we thought it was lifeless. The man raised his voice and said, "Can't you see there's a window?"I mean, the window was so far back and so completely isolated from the outside that we didn't even realize it was a window, that's how isolated it was. After we begged him quite a bit, the man said, "Stay here for the day, I'll give you another room tomorrow," and he supposedly gave us another room on his own initiative, but that room also overlooked the building's stairwell and was just another boring room. Thankfully, after pleading all night, she told us that if we came back to reception early in the morning, she would give us a room. When we went back in the morning, the young woman there was very helpful and gave us a room. Then, because of the bad experience we had the previous night, she even offered us breakfast for the day. Thank you very much. However, overall I didn't like the hotel; it was uncomfortable and very noisy. They gave us a room with glass windows overlooking a side street, but it was incredibly noisy, and we couldn't sleep at all. They kept the cleaning well, but as I said, the rooms we stayed in—at least my room—were old and very noisy, so I didn't like them. Overall, I didn't like the hotel.

Tolles Hotel im Zentrum Barcelonas!
Pros:

Ein nettes Hotel in der Ramblas in der Nähe der Placa del Catalunya mit schöner Aussicht (von der Dachterrasse hat man einen umwerfenden Rundumblick) und gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Zimmer waren alle sehr sauber - großes Lob an die Reinigungskräfte! Das Frühstücksbuffet (12€ extra) ist okay und für diese Gegend sehr preiswert, der Kaffee schmeckt aber gegenüber im Cafe Zurich viel besser! Das Hotel befindet sich direkt in der Ramblas am Eck der Placa del Catalunya und man kann alles auf der Ramblas und in der Altstadt sehr gut zu Fuß erkunden. Für alles andere sind die Öffis direkt vor dem Hotel: U-Bahn Station 20 Meter, Taxistand 40 Meter und Bushaltestelle ca. 100 Meter auf der Placa del Catalunya.

Cons:

Ich hatte vier Zimmer reserviert und alle waren unterschiedlich: von einem Eckzimmer das nur schräge Wände hatte und sehr klein war (noch nicht einmal ein Kasten sondern nur ein falsch herum eingebautes Regal), bis zum komfortablen Zimmer mit Balkon und großem Bad, war alles dabei. Was mich daran stört ist eigentlich nur, dass man für alle denselben Preis bezahlt! Die Wände sind nicht gut schallisoliert, man hört die Nachbarn und die Gespräche am Gang vor allem in der Nacht sehr laut und man muss sich auch an die Geräusche der U-Bahn gewöhnen, die man vor allem in der Nacht sehr gut wahrnimmt. Die Lärmbelästigung durch Passanten der Ramblas hält sich derzeit sehr in Grenzen, da die gesamte Ramblas noch für Monate eine riesige Baustelle ist! Was noch zu erwähnen wäre, das Warmwasser steht nicht immer zur Verfügung! Ich habe nicht herausgefunden, warum das so ist, aber ich habe zweimal zu unterschiedlichen Uhrzeiten geduscht und ich hatte die Auswahl zwischen Eiskalt und Kalt wie Eis. Die anderen Male stand warmes Wasser zur Verfügung aber Achtung: Wenn der Nachbar aufs WC geht und spült, kann die Wassertemperatur sich kurzfristig zu brennheiß ändern!
