Un peu cher
The hotel is just lovely and very tasteful. They have a lot of complimentary supplies in the room, including a couple of local beers and some juices (above and beyond what I've seen elsewhere) and comfy pyjamas, etc. The Japanese breakfast was really really good. I also had dinner at the restaurant and it was great. It's right across the street from a nice beach (which was not crowded and very cute). It was different as it has black sand. When I was there, it was not yet the season, so there were no beach shacks and crowds, so it was very peaceful. I'm sure it will be a different vibe (more exciting but more crowded in season).
It is half an hour walk to the lovely Enoshima and two minutes from the train station.
I loved my stay.
When I arrived, they gave me a noisy room with a glassed-off balcony (can draw curtians for privacy) which literally looks out onto the street. But when I asked them to change my room, they did so immediately and were very accomodating. My new room was super.
One of the best hotels ive stayed in world wide. The staff attention to detail & customer satisfaction was second to none, fantastic location, great restaurant on-site. Excellent price point. 100% recommend this hotel. Thank you 🙏

Petit hôtel très mignon et moderne avec un rooftop avec vue sur la plage et l'île d'Enoshima. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par le personnel avec un thé local au soba (sarrasin).
La chambre était très spacieuse, lit immense et confortable. Salle de bain propre avec tout l'équipement nécessaire. Il y avait même 2 sels différents à notre disposition pour le bain.
Le minibar/frigo constitué de bières locales, jus, thé, cafés, chocolats et autres snacks était entièrement gratuit.
Il est situé à quelques minutes à pied de la station Koshigoe (donc pratique pour aller visiter les temples et le centre-ville de Kamakura). Il est également situé à une vingtaine de minutes à pied de l'île d'Enoshima. Parfait pour une petite balade et découvrir les environs qui étaient moins bondés que le centre-ville.
Cette ville a beaucoup de charme, et cet hôtel y contribue fortement.

Location was great and easy to walk to Enoshima island. We loved the balcony attached to our room and being able to enjoy the rooftop as well.
I saw many reviews about loud traffic but it really was not an issue. The staff was nice and very helpful.
Our sea view from the king room we stayed in was a bit obscured since it was on the side of the building but still, we were happy with our choice to stay at Hotel AO.
