Le bungalow était magnifique rénové récemment et très propre, piscine très bien entretenue, très bon restaurant !

We didn't want to leave really
Pros:

Poa poa (good good) was exactly what we prefer. It is not a big resort with a lot of noise and heaps of people. You walk on to the beach straight from your bungalow. At breakfast you get served at your table and the food at night was exceptional especially the tuna. Our bungalow was adequate with a comfy bed and good shower. John who manages the place already for 7 years knows island life and is a pleasure to deal with always ready to answer any question. Beach is not a real swimming beach but we enjoyed the long walks either side of the resort. Monday night was music night with a really good 3 piece band who played island music. There are two bikes available if you wish to use them for a quick visit to the ATM. We interacted with all staff who all made our 5 night stay memorable.

What we loved most was the incredible kindness of the staff. Everyone was welcoming, caring, and always attentive to our needs, making us feel truly looked after throughout our stay. The hotel is also very peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind.

Cons:

The main downside was being constantly approached by Maasai and beach vendors. It was difficult to enjoy a peaceful walk along the beach without being stopped repeatedly. Also, the facilities are quite limited for families with children, so it may not be the best choice if you’re looking for lots of activities.

Pros:

This place is a dream. Management and staff were incredible. The food, the beach and the atmosphere is everything you want from a holiday. My mom and aunt thoroughly enjoyed it. They just didn't want to leave.

Soggiorno fantastico!
Pros:

Staff super cordiale, pronto ad assecondare ogni richiesta. Struttura ben tenuta e molto pulita. Colazione e cena buone. Letti comodi e puliti. Siamo stati fortunati ad assistere alla serata di musica live. Ci hanno anche fanno un upgrade della stanza. La spiaggia è letteralmente all’uscita dei bungalow. Tutto perfetto!

Niezapomniany pobyt w bajecznie klimatycznym miejscu
Pros:

Przepyszne śniadania i kolacje. Przepiękny obiekt , utrzymany w perfekcyjnej czystości. Przemiły i przesympatyczny personel. Pierwsza linia brzegowa oceanu odgrodzona od plaży śliczna roślinnością . Ogólnie uznajemy nasz pobyt w poa poa jako bajkowy.

Best Place in Zanzibar
Pros:

Strongly recommend this resort/hotel, amazing staff always ready to help and five stars service.
Room very confortable, very well equiped.
Strong breakfast and dinner's always surprise us for the good quality.
Poa Poa is in a very beautiful beach, peacefull and quite.
We married on PoaPoa and was the best decision we could made, thank's to PoaPoa and WeddingZanzibar.
Hope we come again soon, and the biggest thank's to Laura and all the staff.

Mooie locatie en goede prijs/kwaliteit
Pros:

Kwamen niks tekort en personeel was zeer behulpzaam. Kamers zijn prima niks spectaculairs.
uitzicht en strand is goed.

Cons:

Achter het hotel is weinig te beleven. Zit wel een klein dorpje met wat lokale shops maar de rest is er weinig.

Pros:

Il POA POA bungalows è posizionato a ridosso della spiaggia con una vista meravigliosa sull'oceano. Vi sono 6 bungalows (dodici posti letto o poco più) e gli ospiti sono tranquillamente coccolati dalla natura che avvolge la struttura; ci si sente sempre a proprio agio in ogni situazione. Le camere sono spaziose e semplicemente arredate i stile zanzibarino. La piscina fa da decoro a un contesto verdeggiante. Complimenti a tutto lo staff che sono gentili e precisi. Un plauso particolare alla ristorazione che è decisamente di alto livello...bravi! Consigliato!

Semplice e tranquillo, per chi non ha molte pretese
Pros:

La dimensione dell'hotel rientrava nelle nostre aspettative: una struttura piccola e tranquilla, senza animazione o altro, dal momento che non amiamo le strutture grandi con mille piscine e dispersive. La spiaggia davanti è molto bella, peccato solo non sia ottimale per la balneazione causa maree e stagnazione dell'acqua, ottima invece per il kite surfing e lunghe passeggiate. Lo staff dell'hotel è sempre molto cordiale, Kristina la migliore di tutti! Stanza abbastanza comoda e carina, ben pulita dal personale ed è sempre possibile rifornirsi di acqua potabile al bar. Colazione abbondante.

Avevamo letto alcune recensioni che parlavano di mancanza di corrente o altro e pensavamo fossero fenomeni isolati e invece a noi è capitato circa 3 volte nella settimana di permanenza con qualche disagio nell'attesa di fare una doccia calda o riavere il wifi, però la nostra preoccupazione era più per la conservazione di cibo e altro in cucina (spesso le bevande era calde). Da migliorare anche la disponibilità di lettini e ombrelloni in spiaggia, che spesso vengono riservati con dei teli mare tutto il giorno e non risultano mai a sufficienza per tutti gli ospiti; in generale sarebbe stato ottimale avere una security e un'assistenza in più in loco (abbiamo avuto un problema con un taxi alle 4 del mattino e l'unico presente era un giovane ragazzo che parlava solo swahili). Ci aspettavamo qualcosa di più anche lato ristorante (scarsa varietà di sapori e ingredienti) e dalla serata a tema. Piscina molto piccola e bassa mare non proprio balneabile, meglio spostarsi. In generale si sta bene se non si hanno eccessive pretese.
