Diploma must live up to it's name. This hotel has great potential but let down by a few niggles. That said, staff were wonderful, classy feel overall, nice spa facilities, guests free to use jacuzzi, pool & sauna.
Rooms, no aircon, spacious but average.
Breakfast was average at best, similar to premier inn quality, help-yourself. Choice was far from abundant, even early in the breakfast hours, choices looked near empty and we had to ask for replenisments of fruit, yoghurts, even breakfast plates... so quite disorganised.
The room was clean on the surface but important little things are missed; the kettles could do with replacing and the kettle bay is unclean with cruddy stuff in the recesses. For a place like this everything was too minimal & basic. We asked for a fan as it was hot at night, a desktop fan was kindly brought to our room however the mesh fan-housing was covered in dust so we didn't dare switch it on. Attention to these little things make ALL the difference.

Location, staff very friendly, welcoming, polite and attentive and professional.
Room was ok, basic but ok for our needs.
Wouldn't go as far as didn't like but felt there could have been more of a choice or selection of continental breakfast items...eg cheeses and cold meats. The hot breakfast was a little basic but liked that you could serve yourself with what you wanted
Breakfast was a bit all over the place otherwise ok
Breakfast Nobody cleared tables,They sat us at a huge table that was set for about 20 people when they could have cleared a table for two.
We liked the Spa, and the staff were very nice.
The restaurant had been moved into a large wedding-type venue room. Not very cosy for an intimate dinner.
Family run staff were very friendly and most helpful

The room we stayed in was lovely clean and very happy with that. Breakfast lovely and we had a nice evening meal in the hotel.
Unfortunately I booked this hotel for the spa and it was the most disgusting place I have ever been too.
It was filthy the pool water was dirty looking the changing rooms were filthy the steam room stunk god knows when the steam jets were cleaned last!
The man on the front desk was very nice bless him but not sure if he was spa welcoming material. His lunch was in the drinks fridge there was stiff all over the counter with coffee cup stains and just general crap everywhere.
I cannot say how bad it was!
Asked for two cold ciders to drink outside out comes two pints of very warm cider that we chucked.
Hotel was really nice lovely staff couldn’t do enough for you.
Myself and my husband are around 50 but we were the youngest there I think most guest were over 75 and they were all loving it.
Don’t visit here for a spa experience but a nice hotel.
Our room was clean inside but we had a door that was only thin and right next to the intro the building “coach house”
We heard everyone coming in until 2-3 am and then the people above us were up at 4am and you could hear every single bit of furniture move or footstep taken.
Such a shame but I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Heerlijk eten in het restaurant! Mooi ontbijtbuffet.
De spoelknop van het toilet werkte bijna niet. Het feit dat je zo'n kamer toegewezen krijgt met dat probleem is niet leuk want dat probleem is gekend bij de staf. Gelukkig was het maar voor 1 nacht.

The breakfast staff were lovely
The staff on in the evening restaurant were not very pleasant we had to wait long for our food to come out they brought one of our party out 10 minutes before ours and we had to ask 3 separate members of staff for cutlery.
