Not the relaxing weekend we needed
Pros:

Very nice place spa was lovely and the treatments we had.

Cons:

Tooo noisy lots going on so it didn’t cater for the paying guests. If we had known before hand that it was going to be such a busy weekend for the hotel I would have cancelled and rebooked elsewhere.

We were lucky to get the live music festival

4 star Hotel with helpful staff and good facilities
Pros:

The pool was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was nice. Room was a good size and beds were comfy.

Cons:

The music was quite loud when we arrived. The hotel itself is a tad dated but still fine.

An OK stay but at £200 it was not value for money.

There was a wedding on so we could not use the restaurant. There was a wedding on so there was noise below our window as guests came and went during the late evening. There was a wedding on so we were second-class customers. The room was OK but the bathroom was a bit tired with large gaps in the sealant around the work-surface for example. The from of the building was dirty with water staining by every window. It should have been repainted a few years ago.

Truly lovely staff. Food ok. Spa a bit shabby.

It's an old fashioned hotel and country club. The service was fantastic and I had a lovely massage.

A lovely stay.
Pros:

The room was large and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The outside seating area was very enjoyable. The pool was an added bonus.
We were there for a family celebration and the venue was excellent.

Cons:

The service at the bar and restaurant was a bit slow at times.

Comfy bed, great staff
Pros:

The best thing about this hotel is the staff, they were absolutely amazing, everyone we met was so kind and helpful. We had an Executive Room and it was comfortable and spacious with all the facilities we needed, but I was a bit disappointed in the standard of cleaning-quite a bit of dust! There were two TVs for added comfort but they were both operated from one handset which was very odd! The hotel was easy to find, with loads of parking and the location was great for exploring this part of Wales. We didn't use the spa facilities, but the pool looked nice.

Cons:

The food offer was quite poor. Breakfast was OK but the toast was pre-made and then left to go cold and hard and the bacon was also left out too long so was close to inedible. But the worst thing was that the coffee was instant!!! You could however, buy a proper cup from the bar, which we did, but that was £1.50 extra. We had dinner on our first (of two) night and it was really not that special and so we went elsewhere on our second night.

Der Service beim Frühstück war super. Die Fitnessgeräte entsprechen nicht dem neuesten Stand, aber der Spa war gut.

Cons:

Exekutive war nicht exekutiv, sondern höchstens nur Standard. Zudem waren sie ausserhalb des Hotels. Das Zimmer war nicht sauber, hatte Spinnen, Dusche grau. Das Waschbecken war klein und minimal. Zudem erhellte eine grüne Sicherheitslampe das Zimmer. Eine provisorische Abdeckung war nur auf die Reklamation hin angebracht worden. Das Frühstück war nicht speziell, Käse nur auf Verlangen und ein richtiges Café nur gegen Bezahlung.

Overall relaxing in the pool the first day but woke up without a proper night's sleep we all struggl

The staff and facilities were amazing the breakfast was excellent location decent

Cons:

The mattresses were awful struggled to sleep my wife woke up with a bad back. Embarrassed to mention to the staff because they were lovely. Very disappointed. Plus marks stains in the bathroom sub 4star.
