Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal hier, denn im letzten Jahr waren wir hin und weg. Die Domes sind etwas ganz besonderes. Im Dome selber war alles Bestens und sehr gut ausgestattet.
Leider war es in diesem Jahr draußen nicht sehr gepflegt.
Als wir ankamen haben wir erst einmal selber den Besen in die Hand genommen und haben an der Eingangstür gefegt. Beim ersten öffnen sind uns all die Blätter reingeweht, die direkt vor der Tür lagen.
Die Terrasse hätte auch einmal gefegt werden müssen. Das ist wirklich kein großer Aufwand und sieht gleich sauber aus.
Der Jacuzzi hatte viele graue Schlieren, die mit einem Lappen gut weggingen. Auf der Abdeckung war eine angetrocknete Raupe. Das kann man doch alles bevor Gäste kommen kurz überprüfen. Schade.
Auf dem Rasen lag ein dicker Hundehaufen und am Dome selber einiges an Schmutz am Gestänge von außen. Im letzten Jahr war alles so gepflegt und in diesem Jahr hätte ein Besen und ein Lappen gereicht, um es auch im Außenbereich schön zu machen.
Dann hatten wir drei Stunden kein Wasser, weil was mit der Pumpe war und danach kam erst mal braunes Wasser aus den Leitungen. Für die Spülung der Toilette in der Zeit ohne Wasser, haben wir dann einen Mülleimer genommen und ihn mit Wasser aus dem Jacuzzi befüllt.
Was wir uns gewünscht hätten wären zwei drei Kaffeekapseln mehr. Der Supermarkt ist 30 Minuten entfernt und jede Unterkunft hat andere Kaffeemaschinen.
Das ist ja kein großer finanzieller Aufwand. Zumal das in anderen Unterkünften auch geht.
In diesem Jahr passte für uns das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis leider gar nicht.

The property is beautiful. It’s rained the whole day so we did not experience the hot tub or barbecue but we still loved the experience and we would definitely do it again.

This was such a wonderful stay! My husband always wanted to see the Bay of Fundy and I planned our road trip as a surprise for him. He had come to expect a typical hotel room every night but became suspicious when one day I kept referring to “where we are staying” instead of “the hotel”. He was so delighted when we drove up to the Gravity Luxury Dome! The dome was so amazingly situated on the high banks of the Shubenacadie River and provided a fantastic view as the tidal bore (granted, less impressive than elsewhere due to the width of the river) came through. The inside of the dome had everything you could need including a large bathroom, kitchenette with necessary cookware, and a very comfortable bed facing the wide floor-to-ceiling ‘window’ of the dome. Laying in bed and looking up through the ‘ceiling’ was so cool. The dome provided both heating and AC. The outside space was also fantastic with seating, fire pit, bbq, and hot tub. I wish we could have stayed longer! The morning sunrise coming through the fog was so extraordinary. My husband loved our stay.

The location on the Shubenacadie River was excellent. The dome was very well appointed and had everything I needed for a 3-day stay, and I was able to cook my meals. The hot tub and the fire pit and the outdoor patio are wonderful.
I didn't like the heavy smell of cleaning supplies when I first entered the dome. I wish they would switch to something with a less heavy odor. However it dissipated quickly.
Die mit Abstand tollste Unterkunft, die wir auf unserer Rundreise in Nova Scotia und Neufundland hatten.
Der Ausblick vom Bett nach oben in die Sterne oder nach vorne zum Sonnenaufgang, im Jacuzzi sitzen und auf den Fluss gucken. Gemütlich nach dem BBQ noch am Feuer sitzen und sich freuen, einfach alles genießen. Man hat alles was man braucht.

We arrived without knowing to look for an email about checking in.
Privacy in unit 2 was great. The others did not seem as private.
The hot tub probably could use some cleaning.
Closeness to Tidal Bore interpretive Center. Beautifully outfitted dome in very serene area.
Everything! The view, the amenities, the unique experience. We ordered one of the Coldstream packages and stopped at the grocery store before checking in. We were able to grill dinner and relax and enjoy the outdoors.
The hosts really thought of everything.
The dome was very clean, comfortable and had an absolutely amazing view. We were able to cook all of our meals in the kitchen and using the outdoor grill. We enjoyed the hot tub and most of all the view. The views of the river are stunning and we had bald eagles soaring over us while we enjoyed the hot tub. We were close to Burntcoat Head Park and enjoyed seeing the incredible tides and the beauty of the bay. The setting is serene and quiet and very relaxing
There really isn't anything not to like about this place. Just be aware that you are quite a distance from restaurants, we knew this ahead of time and planned accordingly. There really isn't anything to dislike about this place. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful place to relax and unwind.
It is a beautiful, out of the way place to stay. The hot tub was delightful.
Unfortunately, the domes are close together and we could hear whole conversations from our neighbors.
