Hotel Pinocchio

From the minute I was greeted by the friendly owner/manager to the minute I left, I felt I was staying with family. The breakfast out on terrrace overlooking the city below was top notch, and after day one I was brought freshly brewed coffee (the best I had during my fortnight-long trip) three times every day without even having to ask for it. The plate of fresh fruit was also a lovely touch (cereals and cooked eggs to order were also available). The owner/manager even got up extra early to make sure I had breakfast before my early flight and made sure my taxi driver was there as arranged.

The spotless room was huge and the bed extremely comfy. There was free water (two huge bottles) and free tea/coffee and also a minibar. The hotel had a gym and indoor pool that were free to use (sauna costs a reasonable E10). The English-speaking owner/manager arranged all my taxis for me at very reasonable rates (no mark-up). The restaurant on site serves AMAZING food - at prices I haven't seen since the 1970s (a 'half' portion of chicken with mushrooms, veg and potatoes was E4.50!) and everything I ordered, including the wine, was utterly delicious. Pizzas are good too. The location is a E3 taxi ride from town but I couldn't think of a nicer place to stay - you can walk to town in about 30 minutes (all downhill!). Loved this place and can't recommend it highly enough.

Nice location up on the hill, 15 minutes walking from centre, in a quiet neighbourhood. Easy free parking. The room was very clean, fresh and matching the level of a decent hotel. Great breakfast.

Staff were so kind and helpful. Its very very clean, has everything you could need. Access to gym and swimming pool and optional sauna and steam room (€10) which is great. They organised a taxi to airport at a great deal and breakfast was very tasty.
It is about 15min walk to main area but its very safe and very quiet.

Extremely cheap

Kleines Hotel mit sauberen und gut ausgestattenen Zimmern mit allem was man braucht. Sehr zu empfehlen ist auch das Restaurant. Personal sehr freundlich! Die Nähe zur deutschen und anderen Botschaften (fußläufig erreichbar) war mein Auswahlkriteritum und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht.

The staff is really friendly and helpful. The hotel is quiet, a bit out of the city centre but still within easy walking distance.

We liked facilities. Hotel has good city view. Has a clean pool. Big and clean rooms and extremely helpful and polite staff. Food was also perfect.

Schöne Aussicht, sehr sauber, schöne Zimmer mit großem Bad, sehr freundliches Personal, tolles Restaurant, schönes Schwimmbad - kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Pulizia, spa, posizione

Alles war perfekt! Die Lage ist super; das Hotel sehr ruhig und sehr sehr sauber. Das Zimmer war sehr groß; das Frühstück äußerst lecker! Ich kann das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und ich komme mit Sicherheit bald wieder!
