Interesting hotel, but we will not be returning.
Pros:

The food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner. No problems there. The bedrooms were good, however the bathrooms were not so good. There were baths to be climbed into to access the shower with no grab rail. Not so good with ladies in their very late 70's. My friends bathroom was missing a towel rail. When I booked this I was not aware quite how many stairs would be involved. The staff were good and available at all times.

Cons:

The Creggans Inn is expensive compared to many in the area. I was disappointed overall. Parking was available, we were not late booking in and we had to use the overflow area.

Beautiful position. Very comfortable and cosy small hotel. We had a large room with seating area. Great views over Loch Fyne. Staff all friendly and obliging.

Perfect for an overnight stay
Pros:

My Mum and I stayed with our black lab overnight before we sailed to Mull. A lovely find clean friendly and in a perfect spot. Breakfast was lovely

Beautiful Inn
Pros:

A very pleasant olde worlde inn, Beautiful location right on the edge of Loch Fyne, with views to die for.
Nice, friendly and efficient staff, food gorgeous.
Inveraray and it's fantasy castle a short drive away - a must visit!

A great relaxing get away gem
Pros:

The staff was fantastic. Great food and service, rooms spacious with nice bed. A very relaxing getaway in a beautiful area within a half hours drive to some castles and tourist sights.

Remote but beautiful location.

Cons:

We had to leave a day early due to a medical issue with our dog and were charged for the 2 nights. We had paid for the accommodation in full for both nights prior to our arrival but would have appreciated a good will gesture such ad waiver of second night stay for our dogs.

U would recommend this hotel
Pros:

Arrived early and was allowed to check in and given an upgrade. This allowed us to settle in and go for a wander to see what was around. The food was very nice in the hotel and not overly priced. I had the muscles and the chowder, the freshness which was clearly very fresh. My wife had the burger which was a good size but the burger was very heavy and dry. Good quality meat but had been pressed till it was solid with no way of holding moisture to make it a juicy burger.

Cons:

Not much to dislike. Room was well decorated. A superior room you would expect little or no flaws but in all fairness it is difficult to find perfection in hotels of this size. Bathroom tiles have black on the grout but not dirty. In the present climate i would say this hotel is worth the money and is a decent standard for what you pay.
