Pros:

We were very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. The biggest issue was the staff, who were unfriendly, rude, and unprofessional. They made us feel unwelcome throughout our stay.

The room was also not clean, which was unacceptable and did not meet our expectations.

Another major disappointment was the parking. The Booking listing stated that free parking was available, but upon arrival we were told that parking was actually paid. This misleading information should be corrected.

Unfortunately, due to these issues, we cannot recommend this hotel.

Good value for money, excellent location
Pros:

The hotel is in an excellent location, and the shared terrace with a beautiful view is lovely. The food is decent. The hotel is a little dated, but I believe the price would be significantly higher if it were newer. Despite its age, the room seemed adequately maintained and clean.

Cons:

The shower was far too noisy, and the air conditioning had a stale smell at first, although it was fine later. The room door felt rather flimsy, giving the impression that you were staying in a separate room within a shared apartment. Light also came through around the edges of the door.

Pros:

I had a pleasant stay at Elios Tao. The staff was very kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay.
The location is definitely one of the highlights, as it is convenient for exploring the area and getting around easily. I also really enjoyed the terrace, which is a lovely place to relax and enjoy some quiet time.
The breakfast was simple but good and sufficient. Overall, a nice experience, especially thanks to the friendly staff and the great location.

Bem satisfatória
Pros:

A localização e a possibilidade de vaga para estacionar apesar de não ser muito perto do hotel. A localização do quarto de onde era possível ver o vulcão Etna e o mar.

Cons:

O banheiro é muito pequeno e antigo. O frigobar não funcionava.

Fab small hotel in central location
Pros:

Great location close to centre - we were given an amazing suite with a balcony overlooking the bay and Etna - amazing. Really lovely breakfast in the morning too. No problem for us to leave bags.

Cons:

The private beach that is recommended/ hotel has links with isn’t great…there would be other much nicer beach clubs to go to plus it’s nowhere near Isola Bella (although this was our fault as we didn’t check exact location)

Pros:

Extraordinaria localización en Taormina, dispone de tres plazas de parking temporales para poder descargar las maletas . Destacó la amabilidad del personal, que salió de recepción para indicarnos. Tiene una terraza en 4° planta con vistas a la bahía y al Etna. Habitación antigua, desayuno normal. Parking concentrado a 400metros del hotel con coste diario 20€ .

Cons:

Es posible que lo hiciéramos mal, pero el día de salida, cogimos el coche del parking y para llegar al hotel tuvimos que bajar hasta Isola Bella y volver a subir ( 25minutos). Hubiéramos tardado bastante menos llevando directamente las maletas ( hay un tramo complicado si lo haces andando).

Thank you for all the helping hands.
Pros:

I enjoyed a spectacular view from my veranda!! But what I loved most about the facility was the excellently caring staff, particularly Lucia working at the front desk. My luggage did not travel with me from Rome to Catania (missing baggage), and had to buy all the necessities until my suitcase arrived at this hotel. Lucia sincerely helped me find the shops nearby to get them, such as cosmetics and lingerie. Besides, she lent me some cables and adapters for my PC and iPhone. She was my diva in Taormina. My suitcase arrived there the next day! Without her support/loving hand, I could not continue traveling! Thank you, Lucia & all the hotel staff who gave me helping hands.
