Pros:

Friendly, bedding, towels, tea, coffee and TV facilities. Bathroom had toiletries and was clean.
There was a private party on which went very quiet by midnight.
Comfy bed, warm shower all good.
lacking a hairdryer but that our fault for not reading.
Value for money at £50 a night.


Would go again.

Awful
Pros:

The pub underneath was very loud. People fighting outside our window. We couldn't close the window because the room was very hot. The room was dirty. Food crumbs from previous guest on bedside cabinet and chair. The shower was mouldy but we didn't pay alot so I suppose we should have expected it.

Pros:

The Pub colours were amazing outside. The guy at the bar and the landlords were great people.

The rooms would do with an upgrade. Other than that it's a good location and a good place to be.

Pros:

What a little gem! A good old fashioned no airs n graces pub, with staff who couldn't do enough and were so friendly. The locals were fab we spent the first evening in the pub and we had such a laugh with everyone. The singer was entertaining and if I lived local that's where I would be on Friday night!! The beds were very comfy and clean in fact the whole place was spotless, good shower clean towels n shampoo etc provided. I've stayed in everything from a tent to 5star and this one gave them a run for its money

Roomy Basic Accomodation Over Local Bar
Pros:

Close to location I was visiting the next day

Cons:

Hard to find as being repainted and signage was all missing !
Had room above main door to bar/restaurant and very noisy - no food served the evening of my stay as chef off sick - so good thing I didn’t book a meal !
Bed very hard and shower didn’t work and no time to ask staff to see to it - which they offered

Pros:

Easy to find. Parking was nearby on street. Bed was comfy. Room was clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. TV was ok. I would stay again

Cons:

They closed the kitchen about 6. On my return in the evening, customers to the pub clustered around the outside door making it awkward to get in.

Nice to be back
Pros:

Clean and fresh room with well stocked tea and coffee for refreshment. Comfortable bed and was asleep immediately. Fresh towels which were a joy to use. Overall my experience was excellent.
