If I need somewhere to stay around Ulrichen again the Hotel Walser will be my first choice.
Pros:

The location is easy to reach, the hotel is friendly, all staff without exception make you feel special and the restaurant provides excellent food. Will definitely book here if/when I return

Super Lage an der Loipe, sehr ruhig in der Nacht. Sehr aufmerksames und freundliches Personal, schönes Frühstücksbuffet. Gemütliche Atmosphäre.

Hôtel bien situé surtout si vous pratiquez le ski de fond, ainsi vous êtes directement sur la piste.

Cons:

Douche un peu petite mais au final cela n’est pas gênant vu que c’est pour un court séjour.

I’ll be back.
Pros:

Wonderful staff. Delicious dinner, generous breakfast buffet. Great guest crowd: ski tourers, cross country skiers, and the place where the locals meet, all hanging out in the sunny terrace.

Cons:

The shower was very small and the vent in it could do with a revision but a small speck in the overall comfort of the stay.
