Lovely community pub and relaxing stay.
Pros:

The room we stayed in is stylish and modern with everything we needed.

The pub is lovely and filled with local people. The prices of drinks were a welcome change to what we usually pay in Manchester. You can tell the pub is the hub of the community as it's vibrant, busy, and has loads of music events advertised.

Easy parking at the back of the pub.

Cons:

Not a dislike, but the pub is slightly chaotic at times. Staff are laid-back but friendly and we enjoyed that aspect.

The breakfast was decent value for money.

Pros:

Brilliant location. Comfy. Clean. Friendly. Good breakfast and a well poured pint. Fantastic shower.

Cons:

Nothing. The tap was loose in the bathroom, no problem, but you know how some people like to pick holes...

Beautiful location, warm and welcoming staff, excellent food and drink and a perfect room.
Pros:

All the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The room was perfect, not only a shower but a bath too. The evening menu was first-rate and the best skinny onion rings I’ve ever tasted. The selection of draught beers a joy to experience. Breakfast was perfect and to be honest we wish we had stayed longer to try other options the food was so good.

Cons:

Simply that it had taken us so long to be able to get the time to visit the Trawden Arms, we'd been intending to visit for several years and until now not managed to find the time to make the trip.

Good value and pretty good food
Pros:

Fair sized car park at the property. Comfy bed, reasonably sized bathroom. Everything was clean and well maintained. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Cons:

Only a limited dinner menu on Monday. What was available was pretty good though. The road through the village is quite busy and noise from it and the pub may be an issue for early night, light sleepers
