Great spot for exploring the west. 2 min drive to Castlebar. Staff brilliant. Facilities such as spa/pool & grounds around hotel great. So much to do for kids
Had dinner on 1st night there & starters came down at the same time as mains. Guinness on draught was horrible couldnt drink any more than 3 sips of it. Hope they sort that as alot of people will be taking it especially tourists & that would be a poor 1st impression
Loved the rooms and communal areas very clean and smelled so fresh, food was exceptional. Staff were so helpful and kind and disco in the evening for the kiddies was brilliant with DJ Pete. Tom brought us out the following morning to the organic garden and let the kids run around with the chickens was so much fun and lovely chats with tom and the kids explaining how food is grown and how chickens give us eggs exceptional man.
Very upset and mad to be informed of IPAS centre on the grounds in breaffy house sorry now but this really took from the experience and I most likely wont return. No place for unvetted people right beside a hotel with paying customers.

It was all great. Only suggestion is having a gluten free toaster, I only have a gluten intolerance but for coeliacs they wouldn’t be able to share a toaster that has ordinary bread going through it

Gorgeous wood walk on the grounds. Pool was really lovely, sauna steam room and jacuzzi. Amazing breakfast and staff were excellent

It was peaceful and calm.
The service in general was very poor for a 4 star hotel. The bed was awful you would need a stepladder to get into it.Leisure centre was very dated and unkempt. Broken tiles on the verge of the pool so sharp areas to be avoided.
Our stay was based on work in the area and so the location was chosen specifically. Facilities were excellent and areas around the hotel were well maintained. The grounds were very well kept and easy to walk.
The restaurant was a little busy (it was a Thurs eve) and we were seated in a screened area opposite the main restaurant along the corridor - the area was fine and had plenty of tables but we were the only ones there. It felt a little isolating and we found that staff may have forgotten about us from time to time.

Lovely building and location was great. the surroundings were beautiful. The staff were lovely and very welcoming and friendly. Great space for the kids to run around and explore.
The bathroom in our bedroom wasn’t very clean and definitely could do with some upgrades! The toilet wasn’t cleaned very well so I had to get disinfected wipes from the shop and clean it myself. The walls & skirting boards were dirty and could do with a clean and a paint!
Het is een groot hotel. We moesten best een eindje lopen voor we bij onze kamer kwamen. Maar de kamer was ruim opgezet. Een goede gezinskamer met een tweepersoonsstapbed voor de kinderen een een tweepersoonsbed voor de ouders. Ontbijt was kwalitatief goed. Zwembad was groot en aardig personeel. Ze hadden zelfs wat speelgoed voor de kinderen tevoorschijn gehaald. Wel is het overal in Ierland verplicht met badmuts zwemmen.
Door het warme weer was het dekbed te warm en was de ventilatie in de kamer niet optimaal.
