Gutes Quartier zum Besuch der Landesgartenschau
Pros:

Lage direkt an der Wallfahrtskirche mit tollem Blick über Ellwangen und Umgebung. Ideal für Fahrradurlauber (E-Bike!). Alles schlicht und funktional, aber in Top-Zustand und gut gepflegt. Tolles Frühstücksbuffet!

Einfache Unterkunft, alles in Ordnung, aber Preis-Leistungsverhältnis eigentlich nicht in Ordnung.
Pros:

Sehr nettes Personal beim Check-In. Die Lage ist hübsch, mit tollem Blick. Allerdings hat man es dann ein gutes Stück bis in die Stadt.

Cons:

Das Gebäude ist ein ehemaliges Prieserseminar und wird auch heute noch z.T. ähnlich genutzt. Auf den entsprechenden Charme muss man sich dann einstellen. Auch das Zimmer hat deshalb (sehr gehobenes) Jugendherbergsniveau, alles da, alles in Ordnung, aber eben kein großer Luxus. Und dafür ist der Preis dann ehrlich gesagt ein bisschen überdimensioniert.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Für Menschen die die Atmosphäre eines christlichen Bildungshauses schätzen eine wirklich gute Empfehlung.

Für eine Nacht in Ordnung
Pros:

Die Lage war sehr schön, es gab eine Bushaltestelle in der Nähe um in die Stadt zu kommen. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig. Das Personal war sehr nett.

Cons:

Die Ausstattung im Zimmer sehr schlicht, im Bad keine Ablagemöglichkeit für Kosmetika, kein Föhn vorhanden. Für uns stimmte das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht.

Sehr schöne und ruhige Lage
Pros:

Wir haben auf unserer Radreise zwei Nächte in absoluter Ruhe genießen können. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen, das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Overall beautiful location and a nice facility, but some front desk staff could be more welcoming.
Pros:

Most staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful setting. Very quiet. Large parking lot.

Cons:

One woman at the front desk was not very friendly when we checked in, but another one at checkout was extremely friendly. The free WiFi access ticket we were given expired the morning of our departure, before 7:00 a.m. We never encountered this before at a hotel. This place feels less like a hotel and more like a conference center.

Het is een christelijk conferentie oord. Het ligt vrij hoog boven het dorp. Het uitzicht is mooi maar met de fiets een pittige klim.

Überwiegend sehr gut, schöne Landesgartenschau , angenehmes ruhiges Hotel
Pros:

Frühstück sehr gut und umfangreich, Personal an der Rezeption und in der Küche sehr freundlich

Cons:

Alles ok, allerdings sind wir hochgelaufen zum Hotel, da ein unfreundlicher Bußfahrer des Stadtverkehr uns nicht hingewiesen hat auf den Shuttle verkehr zum Hotel vom Bahnhof aus.
Insofern wäre es hilfreich gewesen einen Hinweis auf dem Prospekt der Landesgartenschau zu finden über den
Shuttleverkehr zum Hotel, da stand aber nur der Hinweis vom Parkplatz zum Shuttle.
