Great location, right at the beach. Nearby paid & free parking available,
No lift so need to carry to baggage over the steps.
The sea view. Clean and comfortable.
The shower sometimes became a dribble and temperature went hot and cold probably at times of high demand.
It was perfect for a nights stay before the Scilly islands.
The bed was comfy and staff were polite
Reception was not obvious, hotel had a student union vibe and not a hotel feel at all, main reason we did not eat or drink there. Parking was on a first come first served basis, but we were not aware that had to be booked prior, so went early to see if they had any spaces and they didn't have any, so we parked elsewhere. Room was very basic and needs modernising, table was loose and glass shelf in bathroom was loose, holes in tiles and had hairs in the bath from previous guests. Carpet was coming up near doorway, just shabby. Sea View was nice, but very noisy, windows could do with more soundproofing. Plenty of tea and coffee facilities/biscuits and some crisps. Not all channels were working on TV. When we came back from our evening out, door was locked and we had to knock several times for anybody to open it. For the money we paid £179 for what should have been a four star hotel was not worth the money at all and we could not wait to leave.
I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Penzance Promenade. The staff was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming from the moment I arrived. The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere, and the attention to detail helped make the experience especially comfortable. The room was cosy, clean, and well maintained, offering a perfect balance of comfort and quality. It was clear that guest comfort and cleanliness are priorities throughout the hotel. Breakfast was excellent, with a good selection of options to choose from. The service was friendly and efficient, which added to the overall positive experience.
It's the kind of place where you can settle in straight away and feel at home. I would happily return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Penzance.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 2 Stock, wenn der Nachbar duschte hatten wir zu wenig Wasser für unsere Dusche.
Die WC Spülung funktionierte dementsprechend auch sehr träge, wenn man Glück hatte....
Parken ist gegenüber auf einem Bezahlparkplatz möglich. Beim Hotel sind nur 3 Parkplätze vorab reservierbar und natürlich auch gegen Gebühr.

The staff were amazing. The food was amazing. My room was clean and lovely and well kept. I had a view of the ocean and st. Micheal’s Mount, it was magical.

I didn't like that we booked for a three bed room. Then we're told we were lying and didn't.
We asked for a bed, it was only available for tomorrow night. We were only staying one night.
We asked for a duvet to sleep on and we're charged £20 "wear and tear" because it was on the floor.

The staff are professional and warm. The property is beautifully located in a beautiful part of England. The food was outstanding!
