Prima verblijf in Grossarl
Pros:

Gelegen op een rustige locatie buiten Grossarl (centrum circa 45 minuten lopen). Mooie ruime kamer, parkeergelegenheid in de garage (€ 5,- per nacht). Aardige eigenaar, goed ontvangst. Direct vanuit het hotel zijn er diverse wandelingen te maken. De Grossglockner alpenstrasse en Zell am See liggen op een uurtje rijden.

Cons:

Het hotel ligt landelijk tussen een paardenmanege en een tuin met geiten, kippen en varkens, daardoor hadden we veel last van insecten. Buiten zitten op het balkon was daardoor niet fijn, even als buiten in de tuin zitten/eten. Binnen eten was erg warm. Geen airco op de kamer. Het was tussen de 25-30 graden. Daardoor werd het best warm op de kamer. Schuifdeur openzetten was geen optie daar er gasten onder ons rookten. Hard bed en zeer dunne kussens, maar dat is persoonlijk. Ontbijt en diner ok. Geen kluisje, koelkastje en koffie-/theefaciliteiten op de kamer. Bij aankomst werden we hartelijk ontvangen en werd ons een drankje aangeboden. Jammer dat deze drankjes de volgende dag in rekening werden gebracht.

Super Hotel mit familären Ambiente
Pros:

Täglicher sehr familiäer Kontakt zum Eigentümer Klaus Knapp, der mit Rat und Tat zur Seite steht und viele Tipps zu Wanderrouten und Ausflügen gibt. Halbpension ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Gut... aber nix Aussergewöhnliches.
Pros:

Frühstück war in Ordnung, wenn auch spartanisch & auf das Wesentliche reduziert. Hier hätten wir für den Preis mehr erwartet. Abendessen (HP) war ebenso ok, wengleich auch hier der Wow-Effekt fehlte.

Cons:

Zimmer lag genau gegenüber eines Hühnerstalls & der Hahn veranstaltete jeden Morgen um 5:00/5:30 ein Konzert. Wir empfehlen die Lage nach hinten raus! Der Wellnessbereich besteht aus einer Sauna (mit sehr wenigen Liegen) & wenn man in den Pool möchte, muss man über eine sehr steile Rampe über den Parkplatz in der hinteren Garten - das hätte man deutlich besser lösen können.
