Fantastic :)
Pros:

Great location, amazing friendly, helpful & welcoming staff. The breakfast is fantastic , including great coffee. Amazing pizza restaurant in the evening , and a little shop selling lovely gifts. Good value. Would definitely come back :)

Tolles Team, Tolle Lage, Tolles Essen. Wir haben es geliebt
Pros:

Sehr nettes, aufmerksames personal.
Gutes frühstück und im a la carte restaurant gibt es auch sehr gutes italienisches Essen.
Der Shop direkt im Restaurant ist klein, aber es gibt viele schöne schmuckstücke zu kaufen.
Wasser kann man jeder Zeit auffüllen.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

Amazing!
The staff were so lovely, the breakfast was amazing, and the location was perfect!
We highly recommend!

Cons:

Other reviews about the train were worrying but it didn’t affect us at all as the trains only passed during the day.

The room was nice, but the view is out to the busy street (which you cannot see in the pictures, and makes it too loud to open).

Er rijdt een trein achterlangs de accomodatie die je erg hard hoort vanaf 6 uur ‘s ochtends, maar volgens mij is dat op veel plekken in weligama het geval…

Where do I start with this place ! Wow what a beautiful hotel . The rooms here are amazing . So so clean . Less than a min walk to the beach couldn’t get closer 🫶🏻 .

The staff here are amazing, iv never met kinder people , always smiling ☺️

Must try the Italian restaurant they have in the hotel ! OH MY GOODNESS the pizzas WOW. 10/10

The only small problem I had was the WiFi it wasn’t the best but definitely not the worst !

Would definitely book here again !

Das Zimmer war super! Sauber, tolles Bett. Prima Dusche.

Beim Frühstück hatten wir eine angenehme Auswahl.
Und haben auf Nachfrage auch gern Zusatzfrüchte bekommen. 🍉🍌🍍

Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr engagiert und aufmerksam. 🙏🏻😊🙂

Pros:

Das Zimmer waren hübsch eingerichtet und entsprach genau den Fotos. Alles war sehr sauber und das gesamte Personal war super freundlich und bemüht. Das Frühstück war gut, mit drei Auswahlmöglichkeiten.
Der Strand und Surfschulen sind nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt.

Cons:

Etwas komisch fanden wir, dass man für ein traditionelles Sri-Lanka-Frühstück extra zahlen musste.
Zimmer zur Straßenseite sind nicht für einen erholsamen Schlaf geeignet – man hört die ganze Nacht und besonders in den frühen Morgenstunden den Verkehr und das Hupen. Auch das Bett war nicht besonders komfortabel und hat bei jeder Bewegung gequietscht.

Very friendly staff, clean room and a great breakfast.

Cons:

It is right next to the main road and rail - which is quite loud. If you face the front you'll hear the road and if you face the back I'd expect you'd hear the railway (this is probably better as it doesn't run late or too early).

Perfect stay in Weligama
Pros:

The staff at Rise B&B were so kind and could not do enough for you! Our room was clean and comfortable with great AC. The included breakfast in the morning was delicious and I would highly recommend booking the Italian restaurant for your evening meal! Location is a 2 minute walk from the beach and easily walkable to beach clubs and other restaurants.
