Was good as I was on my own for a quick stop but no where near the level at which they are charging for a room

Cons:

It wasn’t clean enough , the bathroom was dirty, there was hairs on the carpet , the tea coffee biscuits etc had been replaced

The place is ideal for a quiet and relaxing break! But bring everything you need with you.
Pros:

We stayed at a cottage, all cottages are separated from the hotel and have all amenities needed. They all have a lot of space, privacy and they are quite comfortable. They are also closer to the lake. The spot is beautiful, very quiet and surrounded by nature. The property is very well kept.

Cons:

The hotel seemed understaffed. We tried to grab lunch and a drink at the hotel restaurant but we couldn’t even access the hotel, it was closed and locked, no one in sight and no service at the restaurant during lunch. The place is very remote and difficult to reach without a car. There is no public transport available and when we inquire before our arrival about the options to get there the staff was really unhelpful. We managed to contact the only taxi available in Killin; the closest place with public transport; and it was 32£ to get from Killin to the Hotel and an extra 32£ to get back.

Pros:

Room was spacious. Food was excellent. Peaceful setting.

Cons:

Minor item....had to ask for towels as none in room when we checked in.....quickly remedied.

Pros:

Das Hotel ist sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet und bietet alles was man braucht. Das Abendessen im Restaurant war ebenfalls top und sehr preiswert.

Das Zimmer war zu warm, was aber auch mit der Hitzewelle zusammenhängen könnte...

Nice stay on the quiet side of Loch Tay
Pros:

Simple hotel and restaurant on the south side of Tay. Comfortable for a one night stay (we arrived late and left early). Decent value for our stay.

Pros:

Delicious dinner.
Good shower, but nowhere to put items inside, including the washing gel and shampoo supplied by the hotel.

Cons:

Basic room. No wordrob. Looks like it needs new decoration, including the hotel reception area.
Too soft and uncomfortable madress.
You reach the hotel after a long drive in narrow road along the loch, but the hotel has no view of the loch. All you see from your room is the other rooms windows.
Shortage of hotel staff. They can't give service in the reception and at the restaurant in reasonable time. Only one person is doing that.
I felt I paid too much for what I got.
I don't think I shall come back to this hotel.

Difficult to get to and not worth the effort when you arrive.
Pros:

The location is good. The food was acceptable.

Cons:

No staff, some bloke who would appear never to have been in a hotel before doing check in and helping in the bar which was dark, cold and utterly miserable. No glasses in the room. No fridge in the room. Cheap, thin towels, cheap uncomfortable pillows, vastly over priced for what was delivered.

We loved our stay - beautiful resort
Pros:

Loved this cosy and beautiful hotel. Nice facilities and friendly staff. Dinner was really good - the best desert I have tasted! Recommend the scottish fried breakfast
