!CAUTION! This property is a monumental canal house with STEEP STAIRS and NO ELEVATOR. The reception is on the first floor and there are four floors in total, all ONLY REACHABLE BY STAIRS. People having trouble walking stairs are recommended to take caution and pack lightly.

Att rummet var ett förråd/litet 2dubbelsängar på varandra så man fick krypa in i sängen, som tog upp hela rummet läckande o brummande kylskåp på den yta som var kvar

Location was further away from the main areas but this ended up as a bonus, as more quiet and pretty. Just along road from Rembrandtplein
Stairs are quite steep but this is mentioned on booking.com

In una tipica casetta Olandese, la nostra stanza era all'ultimo piano, come tutti sapete le scale sono molto ripide, nonostante ciò alloggiare in essa ha dato un tocco speciale alla vacanza.
La struttura è pulita, accogliente, in un punto strategico e a due passi dalla fermata del tram.
Il personale gentile e disponibile alle richieste.
L'hotel ha un deposito bagagli gratuito.
La camera un phon professionale (non i soliti che si trovano attaccati ai muri con poca potenza) shampoo e doccia schiuma da comodi dispenser.
Da non sottovalutare, arriva sempre acqua calda alla doccia. Lo consiglio

Cons:

La mia camera ha un letto a castello matrimoniale dunque adatta a 4 persone noi eravamo in 3 e avevi poco spazio di movimento , avrei disposto diversamente i letti oppure adeguato la stanza a soli 3 letti non di più. Nonostante ciò mi sento di consigliarlo.

location was decent and there was adequate sleeping space for our group size.

Cons:

hotel was fairly run down- halls and rooms badly need new flooring and paint. One of the bunks was positioned in the room close to walls on either side making it hard to get in and out without hitting your head. The limited reception hours are a big problem. We had no towels in our room on check in around 4pm and with reception closed until the next morning after we would have left to see the city for the day, we spent a very long time trying to get in touch with hotel staff to get towels to shower.
