Very outdated and shabby,no tv remotes shower blocked up.,was not overly clean.found spikey biddy bids on bed.dont think it's been renovated since the 1970s would not use again.

Cons:

There was an infestation in the room and it should not have been let to us. The shower drain was blocked and flooded the bathroom. The room and bathroom are in poor repair .The area also does not look good . Study in the Carnarvon hotel instead it looks a lot better .

Inexpensive and perfectly comfortable.
Pros:

Everything was fine at the Gascoyne - rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Good shower. Simple breakfast but good options. Therese is friendly and welcoming. What more do you need?
