Terrace hotel

Long staircase has been well described, but it’s true that the 2nd floor is a trudge! The quirky check in process was also expected, and we chose to skip the strange breakfast.

Feel like overpaid for it. The room was tiny, breakfast was delivered in a paper bag left at the door, and you coukd hear everyone from the hall and the room. For this money, in many parts of the world you'd get three times bigger room, better sound isolation, and real food. I am 180cm tall and could barely stretch my legs on the bed.

Breakfast was delivered as a picnic to your room at 10pm the night before ,milk therefore had to be kept cool in the bathroom sink as there was no fridge. Staff were invisible, almost felt that they didn't want us there as they gave us a sheet of instructions to what they wanted us to do so they had no involvement with us. We were met with a lady on arrival and tried to make small talk, but she wasn't interested.

Pessima comunicazione, la signora che ci ha accolto ha dei modi assolutamente da rivedere. Abbiamo avuto necessità di contattare l’hotel prima dell’arrivo e non abbiamo avuto alcuna risposta se non dopo l’intervento di Booking. Il nostro soggiorno è terminato e continuano ad arrivarci messaggi poco cortesi dalla struttura. Di hotel ne abbiamo visti tanti in tutto il mondo, è la prima recensione poco positiva ed è motivata dalla poca attenzione al cliente che abbiamo ricevuto e stiamo continuando a ricevere.

It would be nice to have a served breakfast instead of one provided in a sort of picnic basket. However, there is still a wide selection of items to choose from, which I believe can more or less satisfy all needs.

Het onpersoonlijk karakter, geen contact met personeel, een kotbazin die kort uitlegt hoe het werkt en off you go. Het is alsof het hotel in corona is blijven hangen, alsof het haar erkenning als hotel om hygiëneredenen is kwijtgespeeld. Je ziet er niemand, af en toe komt er eens iemand piepen onderaan de gang maar ze zullen nooit iets zeggen. De kamer deed me denken aan een dakkamertje waar Oliver Twist leefde (twee dakramen op 4 meter hoogte, afgesloten met tralies en enkel te openen met een lange stok om het wat open te kunnen draaien. Ik weet ook niet wat gedaan bij brand! Het ontbijt bestelde je daags voordien en werd rond 22u in een kartonnen zak naast je kamerdeur op de gang gezet. Yoghurt kan je sowieso de ochtend nadien niet meer eten. Het bed zakte door, er was geen lucht, het kamertje stond vol met een bed, een hangrek, een bureau, een zeteltje. Er was geen plaats om je bagage deftig te zetten. Er was een kleine douchecel met toilet in een unit in de kamer.
