It was nice to stay in such a wonderfully restored historic hotel.
Pros:

It was a beautiful historic hotel.

Cons:

It was quite a long walk to the royal mile shopping area and train station.

Pros:

During this stay, unfortunately my daughter was unwell on the day we were due to check out. Justina, a member of staff was exceptionally kind, not rushing us out of the building, allowing us to stay quietly in the lounge and providing blankets so that my daughter could rest and recover before we continued our day exploring. Thank you for your kindness and sensitivity.

Super rapport qualité prix
Pros:

Bon emplacement au calme tout en étant pas trop loin du centre ville. Très proche des points de départ des excursions en car qu’on avait réservées.
Petit déjeuner facile à emporter.
Grande salle de bain avec baignoire.

Wunderschönes, altes Hotel mit guter Lage

Cons:

Das Frühstück wäre ausbaufähig. Es gibt keine Küche, daher nur abgepackte Sachen. In der Nähe gibt es aber andere sehr gute Möglichkeiten.

Great place! The hostess was super kind ; very helpful. The location is great (if you don't mind the tiny hike to get to the classic streets such as the Royal Mile, Victoria St, etc.). The breakfast is a great way to eat whenever you want and to pack snacks for the day, Really easy!

Cons:

If mobility is an issue for you, just know there's quite a few stairs so ask for a room on a lower level.

Res en especial. La vista des de l'habitació però no és un gran mèrit a una ciutat tan bella.

Gute Lage und schönes Ambiente
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist wirklich besonders: sehr zentral und trotzdem ruhig mit Blick ins Grüne. Das Haus ist schön, das Zimmer großzügig, die Betten super.

Cons:

Das Frühstück ist leider nur Fastfood. Man muss einen Zettel ausfüllen und die Sachen werden einem in einer Tüte vor die Zimmertür gestellt. Essen kann man dann auf dem Zimmer oder im Frühstücksraum - dort stehen auch Kaffee und Tee bereit. Wir haben am Ende nur eine Banane und einen Apfel bestellt. Man kann fußläufig überall frühstücken gehen und das haben wir dann auch gemacht. Meine Meinung dazu: lasst das Frühstücksangebot einfach weg.

Nice location
Pros:

The hotel is in a quiet location so sleep quality is good. Google maps did send us an awkward route to get there, so check if you are walking.
We arrived well before check in time but our room was ready which was brilliant!

Pros:

Все супер, готель в старовинній будівлі з красивим холом , сніданки можна з собою брати , які ще з вечора лишають під дверима по вибору заздалегідь, можна лишити речі після виселення.

Cons:

De matras was ingedeukt en niet comfortabel. De oplossing van het hotel was een andere matras op de grond. Er komt maar een klein straaltje water uit de douche. De prijs is niet in verhouding met wat je krijgt.

Overall, a very nice stay and would recommend it.

Great location, quiet neighborhood, comfortable bed

Cons:

Trying to watch the World Cup football games on a very small TV in the room. Also there were no shelves in the bathroom to put personal items.
