The staff was polite and available
Very noisy, because it’s next to a quick road, but also very poor insulation inside, I could hear everything from the rooms next to mine. No fridge in the room.
Very Friendly and accommodating staff. Sad there were no reservations for dinner, but the breakfast was outstanding. Next time I'll reserve dinner when I book!
The receptionist was lovely and refunded the breakfast we'd paid for in advance when we had to leave early. We didn't have the chance to use the restaurant and garden but they looked nice.
The room itself was much more basic than the pictures suggested, with quite cheap-feeling furniture. It was generally very clean, including the bathroom, but the sealant around the windows was a bit mouldy. Fine as a basic hotel room but not as high end as we were expecting.
Convenient
Every was ok
This is about the 10th time we have stayed here. As usual both the hotel, food and service were excellent.
We have already booked our stay for next year.
Comfy room, good mattress, hot shower, great value.
Lovely garden and had a bar and restaurant on site
On the main road and a bit noisy with the windows open
The shower was the best shower I've ever been in!
Rooms pretty basic for a boutique hotel, no pictures, no prettyness at all. Not even a box of tissues in the room, basic tea and coffee.
Resturant is what really made this place special and comes highly recommended.
Lily was super friendly member of staff who was running around doing everything which did show at times. Would we stay again probably not just based on the basic room.
Comfy bed, beautiful bar and garden, delicious breakfast, efficient service.
Way too expensive dinner for not much size wise, no air con in bedroom (ridiculously hot during heat wave to sleep in) and not very well presented bedroom. Needs new furniture!
Lovely location with beautiful gardens
Nothing to dislike
Lillie, who checked us in, showed us round and then looked after us during our meal, was absolutely fantastic. I would give her 5 star alone, what a credit to the hotel.
garden
No Air-Conditioning, had to sleep with a very noisy fan on all night. Bed very small double. My stay was cut short and explained but still charged me for two nights even though told them within half an hour of paying. Very noisy coming from upstairs, very basic room.
The outdoor area and restaurant were fabulous. However the restaurant’s a la carte menu was extortionate for what we ate so we were disappointed there. My seafood tagine was mostly filled with Kale - it was £45!
The room was ok - rather dated and poorly furnished but the bed was comfortable. We had upgraded too so somewhat disappointed again. It was during a heatwave and the room was way too hot to sleep sadly - there was a very loud fan provided but air con would havebeen much better - we paid £130 for the room without breakfast (we paid extra for that) so it wasn’t cheap.
Breakfast was delicious although the man serving seemed rushed off his feet. He was a lovely , friendly man which we appreciated.
