Minor point, but given climate change, air con would be a good addition. Our room was very warm, on an admittedly hot night, even with the windows open. It did not spoil our visit, though
Breakfast and garden were very good.
I was a late arrival so I had to find my room. They did make good arrangements to help me but I did two tours of the hotel at 10:45pm in order to locate my room, which was small yet fine for sleep.
Clean and comfortable. Lovely garden. Nice restaurant overlooking the garden.
It was a lovely boutique hotel, the bed was huge! Our room looked right over the garden and pond with the fish! It was lovely!
Only thing I would say is the restaurant closes quite early in a Sunday. We arrived around 7pm, and had to go out for a dinner. They do warn you in advance, but it would’ve been nice to eat at the hotel.

The staff were lovely the garden was beautiful and the breakfast was good, the shower was great.
The mattress in our room was very hard, the pillows were too soft, being so close to the road there was alot of road noise but there was alot of noise from squeaking floor boards from up stairs, it sounds like I'm nit picking but when the room was the price it is I feel like it could have been better.

I am very unhappy that my booking was mixed up with the other Aspirion Hotel in Guildford. My sister, partner and I were there to attend a funeral and I was upset and distracted when I booked two rooms on different bookings. We do not know the area at all. I had no idea there were 2 Aspirion Hotels and nothing either at the time of booking or later alerted me to the fact. Surely this could be done early - staff told me guests are always being confused! We had to book and pay at a different hotel and now I am told no exception can be made and I have been charged for the other room. It's just not what I need at a difficult time.
