Pros:

All the items placed in the room are old-fashioned, which makes me feel uncomfortable. However, this is subjective and depends on individual preferences.

Cons:

When I stepped, the unwanted noises from the floor disrupted my deep sleep.

My room was nice, away from the noise coming from the live show. Oh my bathroom was excellent, clean and comfortable.

No bar or food options , so it's just a room .
Bills cafe down stairs was very good .
You can pre book with them a get a discount .
Good location , no real parking but the castle car park cost me 10.50 for 20 hours..

Perfect location. Room was comfortable. Friendly staff. Definitely would recommend.

Unfortunately we did have an issue with the shower but room did have a bath that we were able to use.

Beautiful room right on High Street
Pros:

Beautiful room right on High Street. Excellent location for being in the centre of Guildford. We enjoyed the walk along the Wey river which was very close to accommodation. Friendly staff who assisted us with everything we needed.

Nice central location, lots of character
Pros:

Lots of character, big bathroom

Cons:

Bed was really soft. Great for some but I found it quite uncomfortable.

Old building with very slanted floors! Fine for us but less mobile visitors might struggle.

On premises bar was really nice when I first went to get drinks for our room.
When we went to finish our drinks in the bar and return our glasses, the host said we had to literally return the glasses and leave, despite me telling them it was literally for 5 minutes before going to a party.
I know there was a show due to start, but the bar was half empty so it felt a bit excessive and unfriendly after the warm welcome less than one hour earlier

Value for money, perfect for single night stay
Pros:

Central location, friendly staff, big room, large double bed, bargain price, historic building
Great breakfast in Bills

Cons:

Room was a bit tired & let down by minor details
Crawl under the table to reach plug socket for charger, crack in the basin, slapdash paintwork

A great stay in a beautiful old hotel.
Pros:

Our whole experience at The Angel exceeded our expectations. The young lady who greeted was very helpful and friendly and went out of her way to make our stay a great experience. The building had great character and a warm, cosy feel to it. Our double deluxe room was very comfortable with a super king bed, comfortable arm chairs and a huge bathroom with a walk in shower and separate bath. For the price we paid, it was exceptional value for money and anywhere else in the country, this type of room would have cost double!

I am really struggling to write something to improve or suggest to make our experience better.
