Pros:

Staff as always were very nice and helpful.
Location is the best in Guildford, in the middle of the High street, close to main Restaurants and Shopping.
Size of Rooms

Cons:

A full-time porter is badly needed to help with luggage, especially since the hotel has many stairs and no elevator.
The property lacks proper air conditioning. Relying only on fans makes the rooms uncomfortably hot during the summer season.

Son’s graduation, dinner at The Ivy, perfect.

Lovely hotel with character in a perfect position.
Pros:

Great position on the high street. Friendly staff and easy check in/out. Building had lots of character. Great shower!

Cons:

Our room was right at the top and back of the hotel - I wish we’d upgraded.

This is a classy, cosy and friendly hotel, in a fabulous location.
Pros:

Our room was fabulous. We had a junior suite overlooking the High Street. Very comfy indeed.

Central Guildford location, historic building, spacious suite, staff were friendly and helpful

No one on reception when we arrived, waited 10 minutes for someone to come. Room was hot, no aircon
