We couldn't have asked for a better beginning and end to our trip. :)
Pros:

We loved the breakfast and talked about it during our whole trip. We actually stayed twice, one night at the beginning of our trip, and one at the end. The second stay, our room was upgraded to a suite and the room was incredible. The dinners were also some of the best we had and the restaurant staff were so incredibly kind and friendly. The grounds were also incredibly lovely. We couldn't have possibly found a better stay so near the airport.

Cons:

Both rooms were incredibly warm. While we know that the weather wasn't typical of Edinburgh while we were there, and we completely understand that air conditioning is not possible, it might be a good idea to have portable fans when temperatures rise outside.

Its a mixed bag

Great looking old house with grounds

Cons:

Room 310 bit noisey from 6am in the hallway and staff office opposite and if i wanted a wake up call id of booked one .
£53 for a steak is a bit over the top

A great family stay, very close to the RHS which we attended!

Very child friendly, very accommodating. It was so lovely to get a glass of milk and biscuit before bed. Very thoughtful and a lovely touch.
