We needed a hotel near the airport for a next-morning flight but this hotel could be a destination in its own right. The facilities are gorgeous, immaculate and spacious. Although we had come from the Highlands, and were not spending time in Edinburgh this time, you could easily stay here as a retreat and take the bus or taxi in to the city for the day. There are walking paths and a pool so we had a wonderful relaxing afternoon before flying out the next day.

Chambre bruillante, température élevée dans la chambre et nous ne pouvions pas ouvrir nos fenêtres sans avoir les odeurs des cheminées des cuisines. Nous avons très mal dormi. Très décevant pour 420 Livres Sterling!

The grounds are spectacular! The rooms are well appointed.
The shower tub combo is quite high to step into and the "non-slip" matt wasn't stuck down making entry and exiting quite dangerous: my husband hurt his ankle and I got a huge bruise near my knee.

Hervorzuheben ist die gute Lage zum Airport. In nur 10 min ist man am Flughafen aber auch bei guten Restaurants in der Umgebung.
Der Wellnessbereich ist definitiv ok und nach einem Trip durch die Highlands ein schönes Ende der Reise, allerdings kommt das Level nicht an deutsche Wellness-Ressorts ran. Das Zimmer und Bett war definitiv das komfortableste auf unserer Reise.
Wir haben ein Zimmer mit Bad für Senioren oder Personen mit mobiler Einschränkung erhalten. Nachdem die WC Spülung zu wenig Wasser hatte, ging ich davon aus, dass man die Schnurr neben der Spülung betätigen muss. War aber der Notruf. ;-) Solche Zimmer sollten m.E. nur auf Anfrage vergeben werden. Auch fanden wir das dass Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist.
The building and grounds are beautiful. Our suite was very spacious. Breakfast was good. The location is excellent especially if you are going to an event at the showground-we were able to walk there and back. The spa pool is great and beds very comfortable.
A special mention to Nathan the young man who showed us to our room. He was very helpful and provided top service with a smile.
The staff at reception and restaurant were professional but not particularly friendly or smiling.
Our suite overlooked the car park, which perhaps was indicated in the booking and I missed.
It was clean, the food we had was excellent. Location was great for the gig we were attending

Comfortable beautiful room with good facilities, staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good value with an excellent selection.
Great location, lovely breakfast and decent beds.
Cleanliness could have been better - few small niggles. A dirty cup and spoon, an unclean toilet. Nothing major. Definitely need proper sockets beside the bed too - we all have things to charge overnight!
