Lovely old hotel with a nice charm and centrally located. Friendly staff
Pros:

Beautiful old hotel with a quality interior. Staff friendly and location ideal for train station and Alt Stadt.

Cons:

After coming from Italy there is an expectation that rooms will have AC and fridge but you need to read the small print carefully when booking.

Pros:

Very convenient to train station and to the old town. Well appointed rooms. Breakfast was quite good. Excellent storage facility on site for a very reasonable fee. We left our larger bas there while we went backpackin for a week.

Check you have hot water before accepting your room.
Pros:

Good central location. Good breakfast.

Cons:

No hot water. Complained to management. They visited the room on my insistence and agreed the water was cold but insisted that the building was old, they had to heat thousands of litres water and that I should have run it for much longer. Eventually they got hot water running. No time for us to have a shower, as a train to catch.
