Nina was the best

My partner and I recently stayed here for an anniversary weekend away, and we honestly couldn't have chosen a better place!
The star of the show was Nina. From her 10/10 communication before we arrived, to making our late check-in incredibly easy, she went above and beyond from the very beginning. She even helped carry our bags to our room at 11pm, which was such a thoughtful gesture after a long day of travel.
With there being no snow during our stay, Nina gave us some fantastic recommendations for alternative activities, and they were honestly just as enjoyable as a day on the slopes. When we mentioned we didn't have a backpack for our hike, she kindly lent us one of hers, which was incredibly generous. On top of all that, she's an amazing cook and a wonderful host.
The other young lady working there, whose name I unfortunately can't remember, was equally fantastic. She was attentive, friendly, and gave us some great recommendations for Jindabyne nightlife. She even offered to lend us her snowboard when we mentioned we were planning to squeeze in one run before heading home!
Overall, Nina and the mystery lady made our stay truly memorable. I've stayed at several places throughout Jindabyne, and this is by far the best accommodation I've experienced. One of our highlights was playing chess by the warm fireplace, sipping on our hot chocolate and tea!
The rooms were warm, cosy, spotless, and modern. The location was easy to find, with excellent on-site parking. Breakfast each morning was outstanding, with freshly made meals cooked to order. We had the avocado on sourdough, the big breakfast, and the brekkie burrito; All were generous portions and absolutely delicious. The freshly baked muffins each day were also a real highlight!
If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Jindabyne, I can't recommend this place highly enough. Outstanding hospitality, amazing food, beautiful rooms, and hosts who genuinely care about their guests.

Overall we had a great stay. Breakfast was great. Nina looked after us the whole time.

A warm comfortable chalet with fab shared lounge, plush throws, crackling fireplace and sun filled breakfast room. The host is super welcoming and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and clean with a lovely breakfast provided. We would stay here again.

Chalet Alpina was a highlight of our trip. The room was cosy and spotless, the breakfast was fresh and generous, and the whole place has a calm, homely feel. What really stood out was the hospitality, Nina was warm, thoughtful, and incredibly accommodating, especially with our early hiking mornings. She went out of her way to make Easter feel special for all, which we appreciated so much. We felt looked after from the moment we arrived. We’ve already been telling everyone about this place.

The woman Nina is one of the nicest people I have ever met. From the beginning she was welcoming and nice. She made us breakfast every morning, waking up early to do it by herself and every morning it was amazing. The place was super clean, smelt amazing and was always kept warm. At one point me and my partner had our clothes soaked at the bottom by accident. When Nina saw my partner trying to dry them outside the fire she brought up a clothes rack and found a way to dry our shoes and clothes easier. I truly had the best stay, as someone who’s usually very picky about where I stay I can’t recommend this place enough. I will 100% be coming back the next time I want to go to the snow l loved it here. If you’re looking for a comforting place close to the snow with welcoming owners come here, you will love it.
